Just that one Pick chance to speak of. Münster have been the more proactive of the sides, in a game lacking in quality in the final third.

Grimaldi releases Michel, who fails to beat the goalkeeper from a central position. However, the striker was clearly offside.

The subsequent free-kick and the resultant throw-in by Paetow, a speciality of Münster, yield nothing. Meanwhile, Kinsombi is able to continue.

Sebastian Klaas hits the ball first and then Kinsombi, who now requires treatment.

Münster are full of energy, but the final ball just isn't there yet. Paderborn have yet to get going, at the other end.

Münster are trying to build up play from the back, starting with their own goalkeeper. However, Paderborn, with Michel and Co., are closing down all avenues. As a result, the visitors have had to resort to playing more long balls than they would like.

In case some are rubbing their eyes in confusion: Filip Bilbija is Paderborn's top scorer with five goals, but he hasn't found the back of the net in 14 matches and is a substitute for the first time this season today.

Bazzoli and Mees start for Koulis and Kyerewaa (bench) for Münster, who'll be hoping to play right until the final whistle after conceding in stoppage time in defeats to Kaiserslautern and Hamburg.

Castaneda, Michel and Klaas start in place of Hoffmeier, Bilbija and Terho (all on the bench), in the only changes to the team that beat Ulm.

"The Münster players fight for every ball and throw themselves in the way of every shot. Going forward, they play very direct football, so I expect a match with a lot of action in the penalty area."

We need to prevent, and defend against, crosses. There will also be phases in this game where we'll have to suffer. Nevertheless, we want to have longer spells of possession."

Paderborn man Adriano Grimaldi has not scored as often for any other club in his career as Preußen Münster. In two-and-a-half years between 2016 and 2018, he netted 30 goals in 71 third-division matches for the club.

Paderborn are unbeaten in six competitive matches against Münster (four wins, two draws), having won their last four home head-to-head games. Münster's last victory against Paderborn came in April 2009 in the semi-final of the Westphalia Cup (3-2), while their last away win was in October 1998 in the Regionalliga (3-1).

Paderborn and Münster are sharing a Bundesliga 2 season for the first time. The meeting between the two in Münster earlier this season was a wild ride, finishing 3-3 after the lead changed hands several time as Joshua Mees completed his brace to equalise in stoppage time for the Eagles.
