Head coach Enrico Maaßen has made three changes following last week's 2-1 win over Werder Bremen. Mergim Berisha, who was sidelined for that game with muscular problems, is back in the side, taking Ruben Vargas' place. Interestingly, the forward has scored in all three of his games against Bayern to date. The other two changes are Maximilian Bauer and Baumgartlinger, who replace Renato Vega and Niklas Dorsch.

Mergim Berisha scored the only goal of the game as Augsburg stunned Bayern on Matchday 7. This was the statistically unlikeliest victory of the season, calculated by Bundesliga Match Facts at seven percent.

The Nagelsmann link

It was at Augsburg where Julian Nagelsmann first got into coaching, as a scout for the reserves under Thomas Tuchel. The 35-year-old has since lost twice to Augsburg in charge of Bayern, but does have more wins against them as a coach than any other club (12 in all competitions).
