Well over
Klaus drives forward and plays a pass to Green, who shoots from a central position about 20 yards from goal. However, he's leaning back and can only find row M.

Caught in two minds
Van Brederode has a go from an acute angle, but Quarshie gets in the way in front of Grill. A pass would probably have been the better option.

Início da partida!
Kick-off!
Düsseldorf, wearing all red today, kick off. The visitors are in their black away kits.
Former flames
Klaus and Quarshie, who were still on Düsseldorf's books in the first half of the season, both start for Fürth on their former stomping ground.
Two changes for Fürth
First-choice goalkeeper Noll is out, with recent winter signing Grill, who was previously brought on as a substitute, making his starting debut. The Franconians also have to do without Meyerhöfer, with Asta coming in for his first start since Matchday 18 in Münster, when he was sent off after just 32 minutes.
Kwarteng replaces Kownacki
One change for Düsseldorf following the 1-1 draw in Cologne, with Kwarteng coming into the team for the suspended Kownacki, likely resulting in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Fürth starting line-up
Grill - Loosli, Quarshie, Itter - Asta, Dietz, Green, John - Klaus, Hrgota - Futkeu
Fortuna starting line-up
Kastenmeier - Fridriksson, Oberdorf, Siebert, Heyer - Haag, Jóhannesson - Appelkamp, Kwarteng, van Brederode - Pejčinović
The stakes
Fürth are out to increase their eight-point cushion above the relegation zone with a successful result, while a win for Düsseldorf would keep them in the thick of the promotion-chasing pack.
Daniel Thioune's view on Fürth
"Jan Siewert took over the team during a very challenging phase, and the results under him are very balanced. In the winter, he was able to implement his ideas more intensively. You can see that now, as Fürth's play is becoming more structured. The Clover Leaves are on the rise again. They have developed, and it's no coincidence that they have achieved good results so far this year. I'm therefore looking forward to facing a good Fürth team. But I'm even more excited for my lads to deliver a better performance with the ball tomorrow."
Jan Siewert's view on Düsseldorf
"Düsseldorf are a team that has shown they can decide matches late on. This means that focus is required for 90 minutes, and then we will see what happens."
Reunion
Felix Klaus and Joshua Quarshie played for Düsseldorf until the end of 2024. Quarshie made 13 appearances for Fortuna, while Klaus played 115 second-tier matches for the club.
Impressive home record
In 14 home matches against Fürth, Düsseldorf have never lost. Remarkably, in six of the last eight away fixtures in Düsseldorf, Fürth took the lead, yet they never managed to secure all three points.
Johannesson from the spot
Düsseldorf have won their last two matches against Fürth. Their victory in this season's reverse fixture was dramatic, as they won 2-1 thanks to a penalty converted by Isak Bergmann Johannesson in stoppage time. On Sunday, the Düsseldorf player also scored from the spot to clinch a 1-1 draw against Cologne.
