"I think they've rediscovered their strengths under a new coach [in Daniel Thioune], who is a great fit for the club. They've got clear ideas in possession, play a balanced game and are defending well again. We've seen that they're playing to their potential again in recent weeks. We'll go there trying to win, but it won't be easy. Obviously it's special when you face your former club. I can't do anything about whether the fans jeer or cheer."

Boniface returns to Bremen training

The 25-year-old forward has trained individually this week after completing his rehab in Leverkusen. "We will then slowly ease him back into team training, in the hopes that he might able to feature again before the end of the season," said Peter Niemeyer, Bremen's head of professional football.
