There's a stoppage as the Kiel central defender stays down, with what seems to be his knee giving him some discomfort. He leaves the field for further treatment and has since been substituted off. Javorček also replaces Geschwill.

Machino goes for the spectacular from distance and isn't far away at all. His powerful right-footed effort is aimed towards the top right corner, but the ball clips the outside of the post on it's way wide.

Rapp makes his own double substitution, bringing in Skrzybski and Ivezić for Harres and Becker.

Union swing in a corner, which Kiel manage to half-clear. Hollerbach whips the loose ball back in and Weiner punches it clear, but stays down after a mid-air collision with two Union attackers. He's back to his feet now, though.

Knudsen slips it through to Holtby inside the Union box. He lays it off for Rosenboom who then threads it through to Harres, who finishes past Rønnow from close range. It won't stand, however, as the assistant had his flag raised. Holtby was offside in the build-up.

Becker goes on another marauding run from defence, this time up the right flank. He plays it deep to Machino at the far post, who heads it down for Knudsen, but the first-time shot is struck wildly and goes high and wide of the mark.

Hollerbach puts a driven cross in to the Kiel box. Remberg, in trying to volley it clear, slices the contact, sending the ball looping back towards his goal. Weiner is alert to the danger and tips it behind for a corner, which Union don't manage to capitalise on.

Becker drives up the pitch from deep, nutmegging an Union defender along the way. He plays Machino through to the byline down the left, who cuts it back for Gigović. The midfielder spins his marker before slotting home a low finish with his right. Gigović's fourth of the season allows Kiel to maintain their record of scoring in every Bundesliga away match this season.

Khedira wins the header, sending it behind the Union goal for a Kiel corner. Nothing comes of the subsequent set-piece, though.

The Kiel forward stayed down for a short while, after a clash of heads in an aerial duel. He's back to his feet now, though and is continuing.

Machino has been troubling the Union defence with a series of long throw-ins. Most recently, Komenda flicks it on and it nearly falls to Harres, but Union manage to clear.
