Time to turn it around
A convincing UEFA Champions League win in midweek was just what the doctor ordered as far as Dortmund are concerned. They're now looking to earn a first league win under Kovač and Bochum represent their best bet at doing so. The home side are rock bottom on 11 points, with just two Bundesliga victories all season.

Turning the tide
Kovač must get Dortmund back on track after a disappointing season so far. They have already lost more this term in the Bundesliga (eight games) than last season (7), while the last time they shipped more than 36 times after 21 matches was in 1985/86.

All eyes on Kovač
Timo Konietzka was the last Dortmund coach to lose his first two Bundesliga games in charge some 41 years ago (1984). Kovač also has a UEFA Champions League last 16 play-off first leg against Sporting to negotiate before the trip to Bochum.
