Bremen team news

Ole Werner has summer signing Naby Keïta at his disposal after a 10-week spell on the sidelines. The former Liverpool midfielder won't start, but "is an option from the bench". The Bremen boss also confirmed that midfielder Senne Lynen and striker Rafael Borré are in contention to begin the game.

Cologne team news

Luca Waldschmidt is expected to start in attack, with Rasmus Carstensen suspended. The seven-time Germany international will be used either in a No.10 role or alongside striker Davie Selke. Midfielder Eric Martel is one of a lengthy list of absentees.

Six Bundesliga matches is Cologne's longest winless streak under Steffen Baumgart, who told media this week that his side are "a long way off being in a crisis."
