Full-time: Leipzig shock Bayern
Forsberg fires wide!
The Swede puts his effort beyond the post after being played in by Nkunku. It shouldn't matter though!
The France full-back's shot is saved by Blaswich as Bayern desperately look for a way back into this.
Leipzig in dreamland!
Rose's charges get another spot-kick as Mazraoui handles in the area. Szoboszlai steps up to take this one instead of Nkunku, but it is the same result as Sommer is beaten!
Sommer to the rescue!
Nkunku is through on goal and only has the goalkeeper to beat, but Sommer makes a strong save to keep Bayern in it!
The potential match-winner takes aim from distance, but his effort flies over the crossbar.
A strong second-half performance from 'Die Rotenbullen' has seen them move ahead in this metric.
Leipzig edge xGoals
Under 10 minutes remaining
Can Bayern find a response here? They need two goals clinch a win.
Leipzig complete the turnaround!
The visitors are in front! Nkunku is felled by Pavard in the area and, from 12 yards, the Frenchman buries his shot straight into the middle of the net. What a comeback!
Leipzig are looking for a winner now, and the Hungary international forces Sommer to parry his free-kick from a tight angle.
Laimer hits back
That strikes moves Leipzig two points clear of Freiburg in fifth as it stands in the race for UEFA Champions League football.
Just as it looked Bayern were starting to move into the ascendancy, Leipzig restore parity! Konrad Laimer leads a counterattack and, when the ball comes back to him, he buries into the roof of the net.
Bayern starting to show their experience
Tuchel's men are seeing more and more of the ball, slowing it down when needed as they look to take any bite out of the clash.
12 times under pressure
Leipzig looking to threaten
Marco Rose's men have started the second period for more positively.
Here we go again!
Bayern kick us off in this second period.
Half-time: Bayern in front
The scoreline is also reflected in the xGoals.
Bayern on top
Musiala tries his luck
That was ultimately a comfortable save for Blaswich, though, as he gets down well to his left.
Coman heads wide!
A huge opportunity for the hosts to double their advantage, but Coman fails to find the target despite being unmarked.
Sommer tested again!
Dani Olmo this time forces the Swiss into his save with his flicked header. Leipzig are getting closer to an equaliser here!
Another opportunity immediately for the visitors! This time, Nkunku is the man who is denied, firing at Sommer from a tight angle.
Here we go - Leipzig's first shot on target. Szoboszlai shows great technique to fire a volley goalwards, but Sommer gets down low to parry it to safety.
Work to do
Leipzig have struggled to but Bayern under much pressure. There's plenty of time left though.
Almost a second
Half the home crowd think Musiala has buried an effort into the bottom corner, but his shot instead hits the side netting. Leipzig have to be careful not to let this match run away from them.
Bayern have lift-off!
The Bavarians take the lead and move one step closer to the title! A nice move finds Gnabry, who cannons an effort in off the post. The Allianz Arena goes wild!
The pattern of the opening minutes has continued with Bayern on top and Leipzig unable to register a chance yet. Musiala threads a pass through the defence intended for Cancelo but it just runs out of play before he can reach it.
Müller almost gives Bayern the lead!
What a chance! Cancelo pings a great ball over the defence to Musiala, who lays it off to put Müller one-on-one with Blaswich. The Bayern legend has to react fast, and the Leipzig keeper is just as speedy to deny his effort.
Leipzig seeing little of the ball
The visitors have been running hard and hunting the hosts as much as possible, though, as they seek more of a foothold in the game.
Cancelo and Simakan bash heads contesting an aerial ball. A painful one, but it looks like they can both play on after a bit of treatment.
Strong start for Bayern
Coman and Müller
Kingsley Coman gets a shot blocked, and Thomas Müller then has a header deflected behind shortly afterwards as the hosts press forward.
The tactical battlelines have been drawn, with Bayern passing the ball nicely around the Leipzig press. Gnabry gets it down the left channel, but his cross is wayward and goes out for a throw-in.
The visitors get a corner within the opening minute and Halstenberg puts a dangerous ball in that Bayern can clear.
Off we go!
The big match starts - with so much at stake in this end-of-season encounter, it could be a belter!
Here come the teams
Kick-off is imminent!
Former Germany national team coaches Rudi Völler and Jogi Löw are both here for the big match, as is former Bayern pillar Franck Ribery.
The Bayern fans are enthusiastic at a packed Allianz Arena. After three wins in a row, they are clearly sensing the chance of a win in the final home match of the season to take them within one stroke of the title.

Goals (nearly always) guaranteed
Bayern have scored in their past 56 Bundesliga home matches. The last time they didn't net at the Allianz Arena came against Leipzig in a 0-0 draw in February 2020.
Some 18 of the 19 competitive goals Bayern Munich have scored under Thomas Tuchel have come with a certain Thomas Müller on the pitch.
Bayern home brilliance
Bayern Munich just need to avoid defeat to be unbeaten at home in 2022/23. That would be the 14th time they have gone a Bundesliga season without losing at their own ground.
Nkunku moves past Forsberg
Christopher Nkunku's two assists in Leipzig's 2-1 win over Werder Bremen make him the man with the second most direct goal involvements for the club in the Bundesliga (79). He moves ahead of Emil Forsberg in those stakes but remains behind Timo Werner.
Leipzig have more points (60) and wins (18) to their name than what they had at the end of last season (58 and 17).

It's the penultimate weekend of the 2022/23 Bundesliga season, and it's still all to play for. Bayern will be crowned champions if they beat Leipzig and Dortmund slip up in Augsburg - but Leipzig are playing for a top-four finish. Three points in Munich would seal the deal, and open the door for BVB to reclaim top spot on Sunday.
