Jovetic scrambles desperately at the death but he can't get a shot away and Leipzig scramble over the line thanks to Haidara's winner. The visitors - who made it into the DFB Cup semis during the week - go fourth in the Bundesliga. Hertha will look on nervously tomorrow as the teams around them compete in Survival Sunday.
Simakan clatters into Serdar out on the flank. Not subtle. A free kick at the death for Hertha who will look to stick it into the mixer. Richter wellies that needlessly over the top and Sandro Schwarz is rightly furious.
Richter over and out
Richter spanks one over the bar from distance and is that going to be that for the Old Lady? We're headed for time added on.
Leipzig should have put this one to bed. Szoboszlai receives the ball in space and is inside the Hertha area with time and space. The visiting attacker aims for the corner but Christensen makes a fine, two-handed stop. Andre Silva drives the follow up into the side-netting.
There's that first save from Blaswich. Tousart frees Serdar who strikes low and looks on as the Leipzig goalkeeper blocks.
Haidara - who was awarded the game's only goal so far - makes his way off with Lukas Klostermann thrown in for the remainder of this one.
11 times under pressure
More Hertha changes
Jovetic and Niederlechner are on for the home side. Can they force Blaswich to make a save? The Leipzig goalkeeper has yet to make one in this game.
Kanga trods on Orban and the Leipzig captain falls to the floor and grabs his toe. That looked pretty painful. A booking for Wilfried Kanga.
Christensen rescues hosts
David Raum whacks one at goal from the left and Christensen is there to beat that one out.
Needs must for Hertha
Tousart heads high and wide and the pressure is beginning to mount on the hosts, who, lest we forget, are down in 16th spot in the standings and will have played a game more than those teams around them ahead of Survival Sunday.
Andre Silva is straight onto the ball and manages to get a shot away. A block takes the sting out of the ball but Henrichs was offside in that move so Silva wouldn't have been celebrating no matter what happened there.
Werner and Foresberg are heading to the bench with Andre Silva and Dani Olmo coming into the contest.
Richter, Serdar and Ngankam are on for the hosts. Can they inspire a Hertha goal?
Lukebakio powers forward and feeds Boateng, whose goal-bound shot is blocked. Leipzig counter and Henrichs shoots narrowly over from just inside the Hertha area.

Still Leipzig lead
Szoboszlai has a pop
Dominik Szoboszlai has a go from distance but the Hungarian is off target with his latest effort.
Plattenhardt delivers one more set piece into the Leipzig box but Blaswich collects that one handily enough.
Next goal key
Leipzig storm forward
RBL are on the attack straight away. Forsberg flicks a pass to Raum, who escapes down the left before seeing his cross deflected int the arms of Christensen.
Away we go again
Leipzig kick off the second half ...
That's the half. It's been a closely-fought contest but Leipzig are edging it thanks to that Simakan goal from a visiting corner. Don't go changing.
As many as ten of Leipzig's goals have been scored by defenders, more than any other side in the Bundesliga has managed this term. Mohamed Simakan has weighed in with two of those.
Uremovic leans on Forsberg, who is in full flight. Down goes the Swede and it's a yellow card for Hertha's defender.
Leipzig edge in front from the corner. Christensen flaps at the ball while Simakan is up there with the goalkeeper and the defender nods it goalwards. It's over the line before Haidara nudges it further so Simakan is awarded the opener. It's scrappy, and Christensen is furious, but the goal stands.
Leipzig set-piece chance
An opportunity for Leipzig to send a corner in from the left after Raum's efforts.
A scramble in the Leipzig box follows a corner and this looks very dangerous for the visitors, until Blaswich emerges with the ball.
Marvin Plattenhardt Timo Werner
Lukebakio leaves his foot in with Simakan challenging. The RBL player drops to the floor in agony and the referee flashes a yellow in teh direction of Hertha's forward.
Plattenhardt has a go at goal from the free kick but the ball flashes over the top.
Henrichs squirms away from Kempf and the Hertha man falls, along with his opponent, inside the box. A quick check on that incident reveals no penalty.
Dominik Szoboszlai's hand comes into contact with Dardai's face and that's a booking for the Leipzig man, who looks perplexed to be shown yellow.
Plattenhardt battles on
Hertha captain Marvin Plattenhardt is back on his feet after receiving treatment on what looked like a groin complaint.
Chance count rising
Forsberg's poked pass through to Werner is mightily close to coming off. The hosts manage to clear their lines at a crucial moment.
A nice, patient move from Hertha leads to Tolga Cigerci having an effort blocked wide. The home fans enjoyed that; something for them to cheer at last.
RBL in control
The Leipzig defender nods high over the bar from a corner. Marco Rose's men have been bossing this game early doors.
Christensen's nervy moment
Hertha goalie Oliver Christensen has a bit of an "eek" moment when he fumbles a rather tame Forsberg effort wide. The resulting corner comes to nothing.
Werner has a whack
Timo Werner powers through on the right before dragging a shot across goal. Fast start from the visitors.
Hertha kick off with the evening sun beating down on Berlin.
Teams in tunnel!
This magnificent stadium is swaying and the teams are lining up inside the tunnel. We're all set in the German capital ....

Relegation looming large
Hertha have 22 points from 26 games. They have only ever been worse off at this stage twice before: 2009/10 (15 points) and 1990/91 (13). Both seasons ended in relegation.
Fifth-placed Leipzig need a win to get their top-four push back on track, while Hertha are fighting for their top-flight survival. They go into the weekend in the relegation play-off spot, three points behind Hoffenheim.
