Full-time: Braunschweig 2-1 Dynamo Dresden

Braunschweig held on to secure three crucial points against relegation rivals Dresden. In a half of few chances, Florian Flick fired the hosts into an early lead before Faride Alidou doubled Braunschweig’s lead. Ron-Thorben Hoffmann then made himself big to deny Dresden forward Stefan Kutschke from the spot, but his strike deep into the second period wasn’t enough to secure a share of the spoils as Dresden suffered a second defeat in three games.
