Almost feels refreshing in this match - however, the set piece is too long, Futkeu can't get enough power behind his header and Schuhen collects it easily.

Three changes
There are three changes for the Lilies compared to the defeat in Ulm. Fraser Hornby has served his suspension from the Cologne match, Fabian Nürnberger is allowed to start for the first time after his long suspension (previously came on as a substitute), and Philipp Förster is in the starting line-up for the first time in two months after an injury break.
Two changes
Fürth must do without their captain Branimir Hrgota for the first time this season, as he is serving a suspension. Noel Futkeu takes his position. Also new to the team is Marco John on the left side, replacing Roberto Massimo.
Fürth starting XI
Noll – Loosli, Quarshie, Itter – Asta, Dietz, Consbruch, John – Klaus, Srbeny - Futkeu
Darmstadt starting XI
Schuhen - López, Riedel, Vukotić, Nürnberger - Müller, Papela - Förster, Hornby, Corredor - Lidberg
Jan Siewert on facing Darmstadt
"We have looked at how Darmstadt have developed in recent matches and how they play. They were relegated from the Bundesliga and have high-quality players, especially in attack. We need to defend with a clearer structure and maintain this structure over the 90 minutes."
Florian Kohfeldt on facing Fürth
"A lot has changed at Fürth compared to the previous meeting. They have a new coach in Jan Siewert and play with a different formation. The fundamental purpose of this match is to win, not to deliver a great performance. Ideally, I'd like to play beautifully and win. If that's not possible, then I'm happy to just win."
Kohfeldt knows how to beat Fürth
As a manager, Florian Kohfeldt has faced Greuther Fürth three times, winning all three and outscoring the Cloverleaves by 11 goals to two! In addition to the 5-1 win in this season's reverse fixture, he celebrated a 4-1 home victory against Fürth in the Bundesliga in February 2022 with Wolfsburg and won the DFB Cup round of 16 against them 2-0 in February 2021 with Werder Bremen.
A long time ago
Fürth won in Darmstadt in the DFB Cup in 2007, but in the last 11 home matches against these opponents in Bundesliga 2, the Lilies have recorded seven victories and four draws. Fürth's last away win at this level in Darmstadt was 49 years ago (3-1 in February 1976).
Draw streak
The last three encounters between these two teams at the Böllenfalltor have all ended in a share of the spoils.
Lilies can handle Cloverleaves
In Bundesliga 2, Darmstadt have not won against any other team more often than Fürth (12 victories, the same as against Stuttgarter Kickers).
