69'
Reese!
A small sign of life from Hertha. A throw-in accidentally bounces to the feet of the captain, who shoots directly. Kristof gets down in time and saves.

Dangerous set-piece!
Horst Steffen's half-time directive seems clear - Keep the momentum! Petkov, instead of crossing as expected, tries to go for goal himself. Ernst is caught by surprise and can count himself lucky that the ball lands on the roof of the net.

Lively!
Petkov penetrates into the penalty area, where he seemingly shoots a bit too early and misses the target by quite a margin.
41'
Leitl instructs
After the third goal, the entire Hertha team is called for a discussion, and the tactics board comes out. To take anything from this match, there needs to be drastic improvement.
37'
3-0!
Another chipped goal - beautifully crafted again! After a throw-in, Baum dribbles past several Hertha players before releasing the onrushing Zimmerschied. The winger finds himself in front of Ernst and copies Damar's first goal with a delightful dink.
35'
One-way traffic
Even after the second goal, nothing has changed. Elversberg are dominating and are very effective. Hertha can't get in behind anymore.
33'
Record-breaking!
With a goal probability of just 1.6%, Fellhauer's strike is one of the five most improbable goals of the season.
29'
Elversberg strike again!
A throw-in to Asllani is laid off by the striker into space, and Gechter clears it poorly. Captain Fellhauer chases down the second ball lets fly, and his unstoppable effort flies into the corner. Hertha have it all to do now!
27'
Sharp delivery into the box
Near the penalty area, there's a set-piece for the visitors. Kenny delivers it directly in front of the goal but it comes to nothing.
24'
Niederlechner offside
Maza sets up Niederlechner directly in front of goal,. The striker manages to poke the ball over Kristof, but then can't reach it again.
19'
Corner kick fails to connect
The set-piece, taken by Neubauer, is too long and sails out for a throw-in on the opposite side.
16'
Keep pushing forward
Hertha haven't settled into a rhythm yet. The hosts continue to control the match. Kristof's long ball is intended for Asllani, but it's a bit too far.
14'
Ice-cold!
The first shot on goal of this match goes straight in!
11'
Hosts take the lead
After initially calm build-up play, Damar runs free towards the target. He subsequently chips over Ernst for what is a wonderful goal. An early lead for the Saarlanders!
9'
Hertha probing
The first half-chance of the match goes to the Berliners. Dárdai sends Niederlechner on a run and he manages to win a sprint before attempting the chip over Kristof. Pinckert gets a foot to the shot attempt and clears it for a corner.
3'
