They were in control from the outset against a heavily rotated Norway side, as Dembélé's 32-minute hat-trick took the game away from the Vikings in the first-half. Norway had chances to get back into it in the second period, most notably through Strand Larsen's penalty, but the Palace man couldn't convert. The win for France means they could face Germany in the Round of 16, and on current form, they'll surely take some stopping.

Dembélé cannot be stopped today. He notches his third goal of the game with an almost identical finish to his first two, after drilling the ball into the far corner of Selvik's net from the right corner of the penalty area. The Norway defenders were very standoffish, and the 2025 Ballon d'Or winner made them pay the price for it. It's a long road back for the Vikings now.

Ahead of the clash, France and Bayern centre-back Upamecano has been discussing how to stop Norway's main man. "With Haaland, you always have to keep one eye on him, tracking his position, and one eye on the ball carrier, even if you aren't outnumbered. When he’s on my blind side and one of his team-mates is overlapping, I know I have to check over my shoulder two or three times to see where he's going and how he's positioning himself.
