Previous meeting - PSG 1-2 Bayern

Bayern won in Paris earlier this season, despite having Luis Díaz sent off. The Colombian scored twice to put the visitors in control, before being shown a straight red card on the stroke of half-time for a foul on former Borussia Dortmund defender Achraf Hakimi. PSG's João Neves reduced the arrears in the 74th minute, but the defending Bundesliga champions held on for what at the time was their 16th straight competitive win to start the 2025/26 season.

Pavlović braced for 'tough' PSG tie

"PSG in the semi-finals will obviously be another really tough opponent," said Bayern midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović, who scored in the second-leg win at home to Real. "Everyone knows what kind of team they are – super active, perhaps one of the most active teams right now along with us. We're looking forward to it and will prepare well."

Neuer previews PSG tie

"It'll be another even contest against PSG," warned Bayern captain Manuel Neuer after the win over Madrid. "Our recent games have always been close. We're looking forward to it – away in Paris and then back at home. The atmosphere today was excellent, we want to experience that again."

PSG - the story so far

PSG won the Champions League for the first time last season, but their title defence got off to a rocky start. After finishing 11th in the league phase, Luis Enrique's side had to go through the knockout phase play-offs, where they edged past league rivals Monaco 5-4 on aggregate. They've since made light work of English duo Chelsea (agg 8-2) and Liverpool (agg 4-0), but did lose to Bayern in the league phase back in November.

Bayern - the story so far

Bayern famously dispatched Real Madrid in the quarter-finals, winning 2-1 in Spain before shading a thrilling return fixture 4-3 at the Allianz Arena. Prior to that, the six-time European champions thumped Atalanta 10-2 on aggregate in the last 16, having finished second in the league phase behind Arsenal. A league-phase loss to the London club - who take on Atlético Madrid in the other semi-final tie - has been the only blot to their copybook.
