VfB Stuttgart confirm Noah Darvich signing
VfB Stuttgart have confirmed the signing of Noah Darvich from Barcelona, with the 18-year-old signing a deal through to summer 2029.
The Freiburg-born youngster returns to Germany following a two-year stint in Spain with the Catalan giants, having come through the youth system of his hometown club.
Upon the announcement, Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth said, "We are delighted to have signed Noah Darvich. Noah is one of the absolute top talents in his age group and is already performing at a high level.
"Furthermore, we see significant development potential in him, not least due to his young age, so we are confident that Noah will have a very positive career path in the VfB jersey."
Darvich added: "I'm delighted that the move to VfB and thus to such a special club worked out. Even during my time at Barcelona, I regularly watched the Bundesliga and followed VfB's remarkable journey. Now I want to settle in quickly, get to know my teammates, and simply work hard to develop further at VfB and be successful with the club."
Darvich made 46 appearances for Barcelona's second team, scoring once. A 41-time Germany youth international, he captained the U17s to both the UEFA European Championship and FIFA World Cup titles in 2023.
The midfielder is Stuttgart's second signing of the summer after Lorenz Assignon. Both could make their first appearance for the club in the Supercup final against Bayern on 16 August, Stuttgart's opening competitive fixture of the 2025/26 campaign.
