bundesliga.com outlines the all-important numbers as Xabi Alonso's unbeaten Leverkusen continue to light up Germany's top flight after steadily building on a prolific start back in August.
2 - Leverkusen scored at least two goals in each of their first 12 matches of the season - a new Bundesliga record. Although they didn't quite manage that in 1-1 draws against Dortmund and Stuttgart, they then put three past Eintracht Frankfurt on Matchday 15 to get back on track.
2.6 - Alonso's men have averaged 2.6 points per game this term, which is more than any other side in Europe's top five leagues.
5 - Some four Leverkusen players have at least five assists so far this season: Victor Boniface (seven), Florian Wirtz (six), Jeremie Frimpong and Jonas Hofmann. Only four players in the league boast more - Leroy Sané (eight), Xavi Simons, Julian Brandt and Jan-Niklas Beste (all seven).
6.8 - Leverkusen had the highest shot efficiency of all Bundesliga teams after Matchday 15 behind Borussia Mönchengladbach (+7.4).
9 - Boniface is Leverkusen’s highest scorer this season with nine goals. The Nigerian has hit more shots than anyone else in the league by a considerable margin (74) and is second only to Harry Kane (14.6) for xGoals after Matchday 15 (13.4).

24 - Die Werkself are unbeaten in all 24 of their competitive matches in 2023/24, with 21 wins and three draws. They are the only side in Europe's top five leagues that remains unbeaten, and their 24-game unbeaten run at the start of a campaign is the longest in German history, matching Hamburg's streak in 1982/83.
39 - Leverkusen are unbeaten in their first 15 matches of a Bundesliga season for only the second time in club history (after 2009/10). Their current tally of 39 points is better than their previous best of 37 they managed at this stage in 2013/14.
42 - The 42 goals in their first 15 matches is also a new club record.
80 - Lukáš Hrádecký saved 80 percent of the shots he faced in the first 15 matches - the best ratio in the Bundesliga - and he made nine saves in the 1-1 draw at Stuttgart on Matchday 14.
Watch: Bayer's new boys in a new light
96.9 - Jonathan Tah has the best pass completion rate from open play of all Bundesliga players in 2023/24 (96.9 percent finding a teammate).
177.5 - Granit Xhaka (177.5 km) and Alejandro Grimaldo (174.2 km) are ranked second and third, respectively, for most distance covered after 15 matchdays. Only Lennard Maloney (178.8 km) has got through more running across the entire division.
548 - Jeremie Frimpong has completed more sprints than any other player (548). With a top speed of 35.96 km/h he is also one of the fastest footballers in the German top flight this season.
820 - Leverkusen had more touches of the ball than any other Bundesliga team on average over the first 15 matchdays.
