Which players have scored the most goals against Bayern Munich?
Andrej Kramarić scored against Bayern Munich for the ninth time on Matchday 21. Here, we reveal the Bundesliga players who have filled their boots against the record champions.
Andrej Kramarić - nine goals
Kramarić has scored nine goals in 19 matches against Bayern, all in the blue of Hoffenheim.
His first came way back in the 2016/17 season, in a historic 1-0 home win for Die Kraichgauer - the club’s first ever against Bayern in the league.
The veteran forward has even scored a hat-trick against Bayern - in a 2024 home victory. Predictably, he also grabbed the assist that day as Hoffenheim triumphed 4-2.

Manfred Burgsmüller - 13 goals (the most)
Several Borussia Dortmund players have ended their careers with an impressive record against Bayern – none more so than Manfred Burgsmüller. The Essen native scored 13 goals against the Bavarians in just 26 Bundesliga matches. He is also the only player listed to score against Bayern for four different clubs – Rot-Weiss Essen, BVB, Nuremberg and Werder Bremen. Burgsmüller, who passed away in 2019 at the age of 69, won his one and only Bundesliga title with Bremen in the 1987/88 season.
Klaus Toppmöller - 12 goals
No Bundesliga player has a goals-to-game record against Bayern quite like Klaus Toppmöller. In 11 games against them, the midfielder scored a scarcely believable 12 goals and registered three assists for good measure.
A one-club man, all of his goals came at Kaiserslautern, where he racked up 204 appearances in the 1970s. His 1975/76 season, in particular, was one to remember, as he scored five goals in two matches against Bayern, guiding Kaiserslautern to a memorable Bundesliga double against a side featuring Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Müller and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Klaus Fischer – 12 goals
As a former striker for 1860 Munich, Fischer revelled in games against their cross-city rivals. During his time at 1860, and later Schalke, he scored 12 goals in 30 Bundesliga meetings – meaning he ranks third for goals against Bayern. The high point came in the 1976/77 season, as Fischer bagged four goals in a 7-0 win against the then reigning European champions.
Stefan Kuntz - 10 goals
Remembered fondly by German fans for his heroics at UEFA Euro 1996, Stefan Kuntz’s legacy among the Bayern faithful is perhaps a bit more complicated. The striker scored 10 goals against FCB in 24 Bundesliga matches, including a hat-trick for Bochum in 1985. Fittingly, his last league game against Bayern also came for Bochum in the 1998/99 season. During the game, he grabbed an assist in a 2-2 draw.
Jupp Heynckes - nine goals
Another goal-scoring icon of the 1970s is up next, although young Bayern fans will know him better for his time as the club's head coach. However, long before he masterminded the Bavarians' 2012/13 treble success, he routinely terrorised Bayern as a Borussia Mönchengladbach player. Heynckes scored nine goals against Bayern between 1966 and 1977, and would end his career with four Bundesliga winners’ medals, as Gladbach - for a brief period of time - became German football’s most dominant club.
Marco Reus - eight goals
Returning to the modern era, former Dortmund and Mönchengladbach star Marco Reus is also no stranger to a goal or two against the reigning German champions.
Reus, who now plays his club football in the MLS with LA Galaxy, scored eight goals against Bayern across 24 matches. Three of those goals came during his time at Gladbach, although he’d only be on the winning side once out of six. His most recent strike against Bayern came for Dortmund in November 2020, as he scored the opener in a 3-2 defeat.
Cristiano Ronaldo - nine goals (non-Bundesliga)
Away from the Bundesliga, there is one forward who has haunted Bayern more than any other in the modern era. Cristiano Ronaldo has scored nine goals against the German giants in just eight games, including a hat-trick in the 2016/17 UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
On all but three occasions, Ronaldo has also been on the winning side, although his most recent game against Bayern, in May 2018, ended in a 2-2 draw at the Bernabeu.
