Borussia Dortmund's Karim Adeyemi granted permission to enter transfer talks
Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that Karim Adeyemi has been given permission to hold discussions with another club over a possible transfer.
Dortmund began their pre-season preparations on Sunday 12 August as players returned to their training headquarters in Brackel for performance and diagnostic testing.
Adeyemi, 24, who was not part of Germany's FIFA World Cup 2026 squad, was not involved, however, having "been granted leave to hold talks with other clubs".

Additionally, Kjell Wätjen, who spent 2025/26 on loan at Bundesliga 2 side Bochum, has also been granted permission to hold talks regarding a move away from the club he made his Bundesliga debut with in May 2024.
Niko Kovač’s charges will embark on a pre-season tour of Japan from 26 July to 2 August, before hosting Bayern Munich in the 2026 Franz Beckenbauer Supercup on 22 August in their first competitive game of the new season.
