Reigning DFB Cup holders VfB Stuttgart make the long journey north for their clash against Bundesliga 2 outfit Holstein Kiel as Sebastian Hoeneß's men continue the defence of their crown.
The Swabians defeated 10-man Bochum 2-0 win to set up this quarter-final tie against Kiel, who booked their ticket with a spectacular late comeback victory over their rivals Hamburg.
With just two defeats in their last 11 matches across all competitions since that aforementionted triumph, Stuttgart find themselves in magnificent form as they continue their remarkable rise. Flourishing Deniz Undav is enjoying a fantastic campaign with 14 goals and eight assists in 26 appearances, while the returning Ermedin Demirović, who scored a stunning late winner against Freiburg on Sunday, is a welcomed return to make VfB's attack one of Germany's fiercest.
Kiel also come into this clash following an impressive streak of results, with just one defeat - which came against Greuther Fürth at the weekend - in six games since December's victory against HSV.
