Hoffenheim bring in Adam Daghim from RB Salzburg

Hoffenheim have completed the signing of Danish forward Adam Daghim from Red Bull Salzburg.

Daghim joined Salzburg as a teenager, spending three years with the Austrian club. During that time, he also enjoyed a loan spell with feeder club Liefering in 2023/24 before gaining Bundesliga experience with Wolfsburg last season.

"Adam is a young, talented player and, with his skills and tremendous pace, was the obvious choice for the profile we were looking for," explained Hoffenheim sporting director Andreas Schicker. "At just 20 years of age, he has great potential for development and yet can already draw on international experience at club level and with the national team. He is also familiar with the Bundesliga from last season's spell at Wolfsburg."

Daghim, who made his senior debut for Denmark earlier this year, has signed long-term deal. The 20-year-old could make his competitive debut for Hoffenheim in the DFB Cup on 22 August, when his new side travel to third-tier Erzgebirge Aue.

"I'm really looking forward to my time at Hoffenheim. I know what opportunities this club in particular offers young players in terms of development," said Daghim. "That's why I made a very conscious decision to join TSG, and I'm raring to go and quickly find my place in the team here. I want to do everything I can to ensure we're successful together."
