Harry Kane smashes yet another Bundesliga record in Bayern Munich's victory over Heidenheim
With his late goal away to Heidenheim on Matchday 15, Harry Kane recorded his 100th Bundesliga goal involvement on just his 78th league appearance for Bayern Munich, topping the pile ahead of some icons of the game.
Kane's effort in the second minute of stoppage time rounded out the scoring in Bayern's 4-0 victory in Heidenheim, meaning he now has 81 goals and 19 assists in Germany's top flight.
For context on just how impressive a feat that is, it took Kane 35 games fewer than the previous record holder, legendary Dutch striker Roy Makaay.

“I’m extremely proud, obviously," Kane told bundesliga.com when asked about the feat at the final whistle.
"I think it’s entirely down to the commitment that I’ve put in every day, to the work that I’ve put in, also to the team-mates and the coaching staff who keep making me better and keep making me improve. I don’t focus too much on these things, but when they happen, I just look forward to bringing on the next one. So, let’s see how quick we can hit the next 100.”
