Harry Kane matches England all-time caps record
Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane has matched the all-time England caps record, making his 125th Three Lions appearance in their UEFA Nations League meeting with Czechia on Tuesday.
Kane, who took his tally as England's all-time leading goalscorer to 90 goals during the match, has now earned himself a share of another record, drawing level with goalkeeper Peter Shilton on 125 appearances.
The Bayern superstar made his debut for England against Lithuania in March 2015, scoring within minutes of coming on in a 4-0 victory. He has since featured for his country at six major international tournaments, playing in two UEFA European Championships finals and two FIFA World Cup semi-finals, while he was the Golden Boot winner at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Kane will return to action with Bayern this weekend when he and his teammates travel to Augsburg on Matchday 5 of the Bundesliga campaign.
He has enjoyed a strong start to the season, netting 10 goals in 10 games for club and country, while his haul of 73 goals in 2025/26 have put him in strong contention to win a maiden Ballon d'Or.
