Eintracht Frankfurt sign Noel Aseko from Bayern Munich
Eintracht Frankfurt have confirmed the signing of Germany youth international Noel Aseko from Bayern Munich.
Aseko made 34 competitive appearances for Hannover over the last 18 months, having joined the Bundesliga 2 side on loan from Bayern in February 2025. The 20-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a five-year contract with Frankfurt through to June 2031.
Frankfurt Sporting Director Markus Krösche said: “Two years ago, Noel Aseko was already part of Bayern's extended squad of professionals for good reason. Since then, he has impressively demonstrated in Hannover, in a physically demanding league, that he also possesses the physical attributes for the next step.
He added: "Furthermore, he is characterised by a healthy attacking drive as well as exceptional anticipation skills, which is essential for his position. We are convinced that Noel can fully develop his strengths in the Bundesliga with our coaching staff and in our sporting environment. First and foremost, however, it is important that he settles in quickly and integrates well.”
Frankfurt's dynamic new midfielder will hope to play a key role under returning head coach Adi Hütter as the club look to bounce back after narrowly missing out on European football last season.
Hütter's side begin the 2026/27 campaign with a first-round DFB Cup tie against St. Tönis before opening their Bundesliga campaign away to Union Berlin.
Aseko said of the move to Frankfurt: “It means a lot to me to be here. The discussions with the management were very open and respectful from the start, and I was given a clear plan for my further development.
"The move to Eintracht is an important step in my career. I am convinced that Frankfurt is the right place for me. I can't wait to get to know the team, the coaching staff, the club, and the fans.”
