The wait is over - Bundesliga action is back!
Close to three weeks of quiet around the Bundesliga's stadiums will come to a screeching halt on 9 January, with the first of 19 remaining matchdays in the thrilling 2025/26 season to be played.
Bundesliga followers have every hope of seeing a spectacular season so far pick up where it left off - with memories fresh of Luis Díaz's staggering finish from a tight angle against Union Berlin and the jaw-dropping scorpion kick strikes from Luka Vušković and Martin Terrier.
The best thing about it all - the Bundesliga is back in 2026 with even more football! Some 19 matchdays remain to be played, as fans follow the fortunes of their teams all the way to the nerve-wracking finale in May.

What a restart it will be too as a pair of traditional giants and Champions League representatives face one another, with Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund raising the curtain on 2026 for the Bundesliga this Friday (kick-off 8.30pm CET).
The big question will be whether Bayern Munich can keep up the unstoppable pace they set before the winter break to march to a second title. A certain Harry Kane will eye another piece of Bundesliga history in the process, as he targets the all-time record of 41 goals in a season scored by Robert Lewandowksi.
