Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany shared his thoughts after Bayern Munich wrapped up the 2025/26 title against Stuttgart on Matchday 30. The Belgian head coach was full of praise for his record-breaking side.

Bayern went into Sunday's game against Stuttgart knowing a point would seal the title with four matches to spare. However, they made life harder for themselves in the first half after falling behind in the 21st minute through a Chris Führich strike. The hosts hit back almost immediately, with three goals in six minutes from Raphaël Guerreiro, Nicolas Jackson and Alphonso Davies

In the second half, Harry Kane wrapped up the win by netting his 32nd league goal of the season after coming on from the bench. The title-winning celebrations at the final whistle were led by head coach Kompany, who seemed to revel in the occasion.

After the game, the Belgian told DAZN: "It's a wonderful feeling, to experience moments like this takes a lot of hard work, so you have to savour them. We can still win more [this season]. It’s not over yet, there’s more to come.”

"I believe it's a mentality thing. [At the beginning of the season] we won 4-0 in the pre-season friendly games against Lyon and Tottenham. We also won in Zurich and Salzburg. It's all about mentality, and ours is always at the highest level."

Jamal Musiala, who was on the scoresheet last weekend against St. Pauli, also told DAZN: "It's a brilliant feeling. We've shown, game after game, that we always go into matches with the same mindset and the same hunger. It's a big lesson for all of us, and we have to carry that into the future."

Having already scored the most goals ever in a single Bundesliga campaign, Kompany's men still have the opportunity to equal the league record for points earned in a season - which stands at 91

Next up for Bayern is a trip to Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday in the DFB Cup and, with a UEFA Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain still to come, the treble remains a realistic possibility.

Joshua Kimmich, who wore the captain's armband on the day with Manuel Neuer on the bench, discussed his side's dominant form. “We’re playing really, really well this season. It’s not something you can take for granted – to put in a performance like this against the third-placed team straight after the Real Madrid match," he said. "The way we’ve got here has been very consistent and very confident. We haven’t always been this confident over the last ten years. We can be very proud of that."

Kane, meanwhile, has been in electric form this campaign, and was clearly delighted with his side's latest success. "It's been a fantastic season for us," he said. "To finish the league off in the way we have, and with the goals that we've scored, it's just a credit to the mentality of the boys.

"From the first game until the last, we are going to keep pushing. We still have a lot to play for obviously in other competitions. All the hard work, all the days together this makes it worth it, to be champions again.
