The one that got away?

As a youth player, Lennart Karl was a member of Frankfurt’s academy from summer 2017 to December 2021. He then spent six months at Viktoria Aschaffenburg before joining Bayern in 2022. This season, Karl has enjoyed a stellar breakout campaign, featuring in 20 of Bayern's 22 Bundesliga matches, collecting six goal contributions along the way (four goals, two assists).

Frankfurt a threat

Since the start of the 2019/20 season, no team has beaten Bayern more often than Eintracht (four times). In that same period, the Eagles have also scored the most goals of any side against the Munich outfit (22 in 13 matches).
