Tomás slips Undav in behind again, who then tries to chip Dahmen. The goalkeeper holds firm and saves the follow-up as well. Nevertheless, had Undav netted it wouldn't have counted: the assistant referee had their flag raised.

Nartey breaks free down the left flank. He drills a low cross towards the near post, finding Tomás, but the Portuguese can only poke his finish wide under pressure from the onrushing Dahmen.

Once more, Führich slips Undav through in behind the Augsburg backline. There's just too much on it and Undav has to slide to get there, but Dahmen manages to collect before the forward can get to the ball.

Since coming on, the winger has been a livewire. Most recently, he slipped Undav through on goal, whose effort was well blocked by the recovering Giannoulis.

Karazor wins the ball back off Schlotterbeck with a fair, but physical challenge. He moves it on to Bouanani, who tries to find Assignon with a through pass, but he just puts too much on it and Dahmen comes out to claim it.

Stuttgart's No.6 wins the ball back high up the pitch in a good position for his side. However, after attempting to dribble through three defenders, the ball is judged to have ricocheted off his arm Augsburg are awarded a free-kick.

Bouanani takes a free-kick from the left half position, around 30 yards from goal. He wrongfoots Dahmen, curling an effort towards the top right corner. It's beautifully hit, but it's just a fraction too high and lands on top of the net.

A speculative Zagadou effort from around 40 yards is deflected behind by Massengo for a corner. Stiller takes, finding Mittelstädt unmarked at the far post, who hits a sweet volley. However, Augsburg manage to get a block in and clear the danger.

Undav holds the ball up brilliantly before teeing up El Khannouss on the edge of the box, who strikes the ball first-time. His effort flies just past the right post, hitting the goal's braces behind it. Some fans in the stadium thought that had gone in...

Zagadou goes on a marauding run up from the back, beating multiple players before his pass out to Assignon is overhit and goes behind for a goal-kick.

After a slick passing move for Stuttgart, starring El Khannouss and Undav, captain Karazor had burst up from deep and Undav tees him up on the edge of the box. But the midfielder's touch just carries the ball away from him, allowing Augsburg to mop up and clear the danger.

Assignon squares it the ball from the right to Undav. Under no pressure, the striker picks his spot and curls a great effort towards the bottom right corner, which Dahmen just manages to claw away from his goal. Augsburg can't give a player of Undav's quality that much space on the edge of the box...

A cross from the right finds the Stuttgart forward, who improvises brilliantly to volley it goalwards, drawing an excellent reaction save from Dahmen from close range. However, it wouldn't have stood anyway, as Undav had pushed Rexhbecaj in the build-up, and Augsburg are awarded a foul.

Dahmen can't keep the ball in play and the keeper concedes a corner. Stiller whips it in from the right and Zagadou goes down. Stuttgart scream for a penalty. A VAR check is underway here...

A good passing move for Stuttgart culminates in their No.7 whipping in a trademark cross from the left towards the far post. Matsima gets to the header first, though, and clears the danger for Augsburg.

Leweling breaks down the left flank and bursts into the Augsburg box. He lays it off to his left, into the path of the overlapping Mittelstädt, but a perfectly-timed tackle from Banks denies the German international a shot. Stuttgart scream for a penalty, but the American defender had got that tackle spot on.

Stuttgart's midfield metronome stays down after hitting the ground hard following an aerial duel with Rexhbecaj. He seems to be in some discomfort, but he's back to his feet now and play has continued.
