Nathan Ngoumou had restored Gladbach's two-goal lead by lifting a goal kick from Omlin over the defence before firing in on the bounce. Bauer then cut it back to 2-3 by turning in at the near post after a clever corner routine had seen Berisha head the ball back across the goalmouth.
