WATCH: BECKER: "WE'RE PROUD TO BE TOP"
GAME, SET AND MATCH
Union top the Bundesliga! Very able defending from today's visitors as Timo Hübers early own goal is enough for them to secure all three points against a 10-man Cologne.
INTO ADDED TIME
Not long left in this one. 10-man Cologne are still pushing for an equaliser but time is running out.
Speed check: The fastest player in the game after 90 minutes
Sheraldo Becker 34.45km/h
Linton Maina 33.79km/h
Janik Haberer 32.54km/h
Summer signing Sargis Adamyan enters the fray. He scored his first Cologne goal last week and Steffen Baumgart will be hoping for another today from the Armenian.
His first yellow was slightly harsh in the opening 20 minutes but there's no complaints about the second. Cologne's task just got a harder as they're down to 10 men.
Second yellow card
TEN TO GO
Plus stoppage time of course. Can Union hold on to their lead or will Cologne find an opening?
CLOSE FROM PANTOVIC
Milos Pantovic loves a spectacular goal and he sends an effort just over the bar from outside the box.
THIELMANN WARMING UP
Jan Thielmann is getting ready for Cologne as they try to find a goal from somewhere.

UNION HEADING FOR THE TOP?
The team with the best unbeaten streak in the Bundesliga are less than 30 minutes from the top of the Bundesliga as things stand.
TRIMMEL HITS THE BAR
Was it a cross? Was it a shot? Either way Christopher Trimmel has his hands on his head after almost finding the net with a curling effort that clips the woodwork and bounces back out into play.
BECKER AND JORDAN COMBINE
Becker flicks the ball onto Jordan but the US international is just squeezed out and unable to add to Union's lead.
Knoche and Pedersen go straight into the referee's book with some tough challenges flying in.
Tigges is on for Dietz for the second half with that being the only change at the break.
GOOD TO SEE YOU BACK, TIMO!
Union take a one-goal cushion into the break with Urs Fischer's men coming straight out of the blocks in this one, catching Cologne napping in the opening moments of the match. Cologne have grown into the game but will need to pack more of a punch for the second half.
Union could have had two or three but the xG stats suggest that 0-1 sits about right as a scoreline for now.

KAINZ AND COLOGNE GROWING INTO THE GAME
It's was a nervy start to the half for Cologne with the usually impressive Florian Kainz silenced for much of the half. But he has grown into the game as the half has went on.
Speed check: The fastest player in the game after 30 minutes
Sheraldo Becker 34.45km/h
Linton Maina 32.74km/h
Kristian Pedersen 31.43km/h
MARVIN TO THE RESCUE
Despite a difficult start to the game for Timo Hübers he's the most efficient passer of the game so far.
TOPSY TURVY START FOR TIMO
SHERALDO SO CLOSE TO SIX
Lovely attacking play from Union. The ball finds its way to Sheraldo Becker at a tight angle to the right of Marvin Schwäbe's net and the Suriname international hits a tidy finish for what he thinks is his sixth goal of the season - but VAR has a look and says 'No goal', with Becker a fraction offside when he received the ball. Tough break.
Decision No goal
A tough penalty decision to take as Killian was judged to have handled - although replays suggest it was contentious. The penalty effort from Jordan is tame as Cologne goalkeeper Marvin Schwäbe dives low and holds the ball.
WHAT A START!
Inside three minutes - Union have the lead! Debutant Lennart Grill sends a long ball to the left with Jordan picking the ball up and passing it to Becker. He tries an attempt with the ball ricocheting heavily off Timo Hübers and into the net.
OWN GOAL!0 : 1
The sun's out and the noise is loud in Cologne as we get things underway in this one.
STREAKS TO BE BROKEN?
Cologne are unbeaten after five matches for the first time since 2016/17, with Steffen Baumgart's men enjoying a strong start to this year's campaign. Union can top the Bundesliga with a win today and Urs Fischer can celebrate the fact that his side are on the longest unbeaten run of any Bundesliga team.
MIXED FORTUNES IN MIDWEEK
Stefan Tigges - who is on the bench today - scored the opener for Cologne as they drew 1-1 in Nice, with the match overshadowed by crowd trouble during the Billygoats return to European football in the Conference League. Union meanwhile lost 1-0 on their travels to Union Saint-Gilloise in Brussels in the Europa League.
COLOGNE TEAM NEWS
Benno Schmitz is back for Cologne in defence. There's changes up top as Dietz, Pedersen, Maina join Florian Kainz to try and find an opening against the strongest Bundesliga backline as things stand.
UNION TEAM NEWS
It's a first start in goal for Leverkusen-loanee Lennart Grill. The German U21 international replaces the missing Frederik Rönnow between the sticks. Timo Baumgartl is back on the bench for Union following successful chemotherapy since his testicular cancer diagnosis.
