WATCH: SOW: "I HAVE NO WORDS FOR THIS YEAR"
A top game ends all square, which is probably the right result on balance. Burkardt's first goal of the season put Mainz ahead in the first half before Kolo Muani netted his fifth goal of the campaign to equalise for Frankfurt - who momentarily go third in the standings - in the second half.
TIME ADDED ON
We're two minutes into the four of added time.
FINAL MAINZ PUSH
Mainz subs Caci and da Costa do their best to give the home side a winner. The latter's shot is deflected off target.

EBIMBE HAS A POP
Emimbe swipes at a shot that flies into the arms of Zentner.
A triple swap for Mainz here, with Lee, Ingvartsen and Caci all coming on for the 05ers for the closing stages.
KOLO MUANI ON THE MOVE
Rode nods to Kolo Muani and if the France forward manages to control, this is game over. The ball squirms away from Eintracht's forward and Mainz breathe a sigh of relief.
Distance run (km)
Kolo Muani plays one into the feet of Mario Götze and for a split second it looks as though the Eintracht man is going to net the winning goal. Mainz move quickly to clear, however,
Barreiro batters one off target from inside the area. Both teams are going for this as we head into the final ten minutes. There could ytt be a winner here.
Zentner races off his line (not for the first time in this game) to try and clear from Kolo Muani. Bad move. Mainz lose possession and the ball is played to Götze, who goes for a worldie, lobbed finish as Zentner scurries back. The keeper just makes it in time to save.
FRANKFURT ON TERMS
It's that man again! Kolo Muani receives a sublime, flicked through pass from Götze and holds off the Mainz defender as he advances around Zentner. The France forward fires high into the net and Eintracht are level.
Randal Kolo Muani
MAINZ LET OFF
Kamada twists and turns on the left and gets his cross in. Mainz look to clear but Ebimbe takes the ball out from a cluster of defenders and lashes wide. Ebimbe really should have scored there.
Double swap from Eintracht coach Glasner as Rode and Pellegrini enter the fray.
CHANCES BOTH ENDS
Trapp comes to Eintracht's rescue once more, the Qatar-bound goalkeeper saving well with his legs from Barreiro. At the other end, Kolo Muani almost creates an opening as he jinks down the left, beats his man and crosses into the centre. There was nobody there for Eintracht.
Mainz work the ball right to Widmer who lashes way off target. The visitors look far too open at the back at the start of this second half.
Trapp is forced into a flying one-handed save from Burkardt's header. Top save from the Eintracht man who keeps his side in this.
Smolcic is in for Jakic - who had been carrying a knock prior to the game - at the start of the second half.
The hosts kick off the second half and away we go again. Can Mainz maintain their lead or will Eintracht hit back?
That was a top opening 45 minutes at the MEWA Arena. Mainz edge proceedings thanks to that Burkardt goal from close range. Plenty more to come after the break.
For a moment, it seems as though Eintracht have a penalty. Stefan Bell brings down the onrushing Kolo Muani, but after a review, the foul is adjudged to have taken place outside the box. Lindstrom hits the wall with the resulting set piece.
ReviewInside Penalty Area?
HOSTS WANT MORE
Burkardt leads the breakaway that almost has Mainz looking assured of a second. Some last gasp Eintracht defending saves the visitors.
Amazing scenes. Burkardt fires Mainz into the lead but only after some sensational goalkeeping from Kevin Trapp. The custodian first denied Burkardt's header with a two-handed, point blank save from a corner. Onisiwo battered the rebound back at goal only for Trapp to save again. The loose ball was then headed back into Burkardt who converted from close range.
Tuta clatters into Edimilson Fernandes as the Mainz man looked to make progress. The first yellow card of the game is produced.
TOO TIGHT TO CALL
Burkardt twists and turns and flicks a pass on the fly that looks to be rolling towards Barreiro. Knauff slides in to make a crucial intervention. The resulting corner comes to nothing.
Zentner makes a mess of a back pass, the goalkeeper trying to clear first time but giving possession straight to Eintracht. The ball is eventually fed to Kolo Muani who slams into the net. To Zentner's relief, there is an offside flag up.
Speed check: The fastest player in the game after 30 minutes
Lindstrom goes on the longest run, barrelling past Mainz defenders and going face to face with Zentner. The Danish international takes way too long over his shot, however, and Mainz manage to clear after the forward is muscled out of the way.
Barreiro fires straight into other arms of Trapp from inside a packed penalty area. It's been entertaining thus far as we await the opening goal.
05ERS CLOSE THE DOOR
Kolo Muani and Götze look to combine on the edge of the Mainz area but the hosts shut the door at just the right time. No way through this time for the Eagles.
Lindstrom takes a pass from Götze, gets his head down and pushes forward. The Dane swipes a subsequent shot low and wide of goal. He's disappointed with that.
KOLO MUANI MENACING
Kolo Muani mis-controls when looking to take a pass right in front of Robin Zentner. That's a let-off for Mainz.
Mainz should probably be in front. First, Barreiro and Jonathan Burkardt combine to draw a good save from Trapp. From the resulting corner, Kohr slams a super long-distance shot inches wide of the upright.
BARREIRO TAKES A HIT
Leandro Barreiro is down in a heap inside the Eintracht area having taken a wallop from behind from Kristijan Jakic. Both players had their eye on the ball as it looped into the box. Barreiro eventually gets back to his feet and the game can continue.
KAMADA OFF TARGET
Free kick Eintracht, slighty to the right and at a distance from goal. Kamada lines it up and assesses his options in the area. The Japan international tries a tricky one and shoots for the near post. He misses by a mile, much to the delight of the home fans.
AWAY WE GO !
Game on in Mainz. Who will be celebrating here as these teams play out their last competitive game until after the World Cup?
TEAMS IN TUNNEL
Both sides are greeting each other down in the tunnel at the MEWA Arena. Not long to kick off now.

EINTRACHT'S SWEET WIN
Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner has every right to be thrilled with his players for their achievements on the domestic front and in Europe of late. "If the lads weren’t such cool characters, there wouldn’t be such a good atmosphere in the dressing room," the coach said. "When we sign players, we make sure they’re good lads who put the success of the team above all else."
"SOMETHING TO PROVE"
Here's what home coach Bo Svensson had to say about today's encounter: "The pressure is there: we have to perform because we don’t want to have that feeling again like we had sitting in the dressing room after the [defeat] against Schalke. We’ve got something to prove, and that’s important to me."
EAGLES' LOFTY GOAL
By contrast, Eintracht have been flying. Should they add one more victory to a run that has seen them win four of their last five games, Die Adler could end up in second place in the standings at the end of Matchday 15, results from other games pending.
MAINZ NEED A LIFT
