CHOUPO-MOTING MAKES IT FOUR!
Pavard's shot is blocked out to Kimmich in midfield and he slides the ball through the Leipzig defence for Choupo-Moting to control and slot home beyond Gulacsi. Bayern showing their incredible mentality to push on for more despite already being 3-1 ahead, and that's a first of the season for Choupo-Moting.

SABITZER SO CLOSE!
It's almost four for Bayern after amazing work from Davies. He races beyond Haidara and into the Leipzig area before picking out Sabitzer in the middle. His shot is superbly saved by Gulacsi before the former Leipzig man heads over from the rebound.
INTO THE FINAL MINUTES...
Leipzig are trying everything to get another goal before the end here. They've had 10 shots on goal, of which six have come in the second half, but it's looking unlikely for them to find another breakthrough.
NKUNKU NOT FAR AWAY
Poulsen is brought down by Sabitzer and hands Leipzig a chance to shoot at goal from 25 yards out. Nkunku steps up, but curls his free-kick wide over Neuer's goal.

INTENSITY HASN'T DROPPED
We're in the final stages of this game but the intensity from both sides has not dropped one bit. Leipzig are still pressing every time Bayern play a pass and are forcing mistakes from Bayern. But credit to the side in front here, they're not allowing Leipzig to break in behind.
Some defensive moves from Bayern as Stanisic and Süle come on for Müller and Pavard in the final 15 minutes.
Silva has run his socks off today and he's replaced by Poulsen here for the final 20 minutes.
Both sides are finding ways to fly through the other's midfield here which is providing a wide-open game as we approach the final 20 minutes. Forsberg has a shot blocked over the top by his own teammate Haidara, with Musiala lurking on the counter-attack at the other end.
MARSCH WANTS MORE!

SILVA SO CLOSE!
A huge chance for Leipzig as Nkunku is found out on the right flank and he looks up to spot Silva racing for the back post. He slides the ball across the Bayern area but Silva misses the ball by a matter of inches and he slides in at the back post.
LEIPZIG PUSHING ON
The home side have the wind beneath their wings here and are pressing high against Bayern and winning the ball back against Bayern in midfield. Silva is being isolated slightly in attack, though, and Marsch will be looking for his side to connect the dots more sooner rather than later.
As ever, Bayern's midfield maestro is providing the goods.
KIMMICH RUNNING THE SHOW
Two changes for Bayern as Lewandowski and Goretzka come off, with Choupo-Moting and Sabitzer coming on to face his former side. Meanwhile, Forsberg, Gvardiol and Haidara are all on for Leipzig.

WHAT A GOAL FROM LAIMER!
And just like that, this game is back on! Laimer picks up the ball 35 yards out from goal with Kampl's pass and he simply takes aim with a thunderous shot. It beats Neuer all ends up to find the top right-hand corner of the goal. What a strike, and Leipzig have hope!

SANE MAKES IT THREE!
There's an assist to add to his goal for Musiala and Bayern area flying here in the second half. Lewandowski is found in space in front of the Leipzig defence and slides Musiala in down the right. He beats Simakan before firing a ball across goal and it's inch-perfect for Sane to poke in at the back post.
A huge chance for three for Bayern as they break forward once again. Lewandowski is found by Davies in front of goal, but his shot is saved by Gulacsi.
It's almost a way back into the game for Leipzig as Olmo slides a pass forward for Silva who then slots home beyond Neuer, but the flag is up on the nearside and after a check from Video-Assist, the decision stands. Silva and Leipzig denied!
What a fantastic counter-attack from Bayern as they play out from the back with Hernandez keeping the ball from going out for a corner. Müller sends an incredible pass through for Sane down the left and his cross misses Musiala before Lewandowski controls at the back post. He's not got much space to shoot and slices a shot wide of goal.
MUSIALA FIRES HOME!
And just like that, Bayern double their lead. Just two minutes into the second half and Bayern fly forward across the pitch. Lewandowski is found on the left and he sends Davies away on the overlap down the left. He fires in a cross for Musiala who controls superbly before firing beyond Gulacsi across goal from just six yards out at the near post.
The second half is rolling without a change to either side here. A good omen for the away side: Bayern have won their last 49 Bundesliga matches in which they've had a half-time lead.
SO CLOSE FOR OLMO!
Leipzig come closest to equalising here after patient build-up sees a cross into the middle from the right by Mukiele. Nkunku controls well with his back to goal and lays off for Olmo to strike at goal. He hits it with his left, but Neuer is on hand to tip the ball over the crossbar with a fine save.
Musiala is on for Gnabry before the break.
It looks as if Bayern will have to make a change before half-time here with Gnabry down on the right flank. He's taken some treatment but looks unable to continue.
LEWANDOWSKI FIRES WIDE
A rare miscued shot from Lewy as Sane breaks away with support in numbers. He slots the ball to Lewandowski on the right corner of Leipzig's area, but he drags his shot wide low across goal.
So far, Bayern are ahead and have looked threatening on the counter, but Leipzig are posing more of a threat for a second goal so far.
FIVE MINUTES TILL THE BREAK
LAIMER FORCES A SAVE
Szoboszlai sends the ball into the Bayern area from deep and Simakan wins it, with the ball then coming back to him for another header which goes across the away side's penalty area from left to right. Laimer is alone to run onto the loose ball and he heads the ball at goal, but Neuer is down well to save again.

ANGELINO SLICES WIDE!
A good chance for Angelino at the back post as Silva and Upamecano challenge for a cross in the middle and the ball bounces to the Spaniard at the back of Bayern's area. He winds up a powerful shot, but his precision is lacking and the ball slices wide.
Bayern have not lost with Hernandez in their starting XI. So far it's been 23 wins and five draws from his 28 starts.
GNABRY DENIED BY SIMAKAN!
A huge block from Simakan keeps this game from being 2-0 to Bayern. The away side break down the right and Müller switches the play to Sane on the left. He slides Lewandowski in behind having beaten the offside trap and he slides the ball across goal where Gnabry is waiting to put the ball home ahead of Gulacsi. But as he's about to pull the trigger, Simakan slides in and puts the ball behind for a corner.

LACKING THE FINAL TOUCH
Leipzig have responded well to going behind here and are pushing on every time they win possession. But Silva is being marshalled well by Upamecano and Hernandez so far, and so Leipzig are struggling to create clear-cut chances.
OLMO FIRES WIDE
Tidy play from Leipzig as Simakan breaks forward from defence to get on the end of Kampl's forward pass. He slides the ball to Olmo who has space to shoot from all of 25 yards, but slices his effort well wide.
THE LEIPZIG PRESS
The hosts have won 30 tackles to Bayern's 21 so far with high pressing intensifying now with Marsch pushing his side on from the sidelines.
KAMPL ON TARGET
Leipzig pressing high up the pitch and win it back from the Bayern midfield. Silva lays off to Kampl to strike at goal but it's another simple save for Neuer with that going straight at the Bayern No.1.

LEWY'S ON A RECORD-CHASING RUN
Robert Lewandowski has now scored in his 14th Bundesliga match in a row. Only once has there been an even longer run in Bundesliga history and it was, of course, Gerd Müller who scored in 16 Bundesliga matches in a row between 1969 and 1970.

NEXT BAYERN CHANCES!
A poor touch from Kampl sends Bayern away and the ball comes out to Gnabry on the right. He cuts inside past Angelino to shoot but his shot is blocked. The rebound falls to Kimmich on the edge but he fires wide with a dragged shot beyond goal.
LEWY FROM THE SPOT!
Bayern lead after 12 minutes here as Lewandowski steps up to the penalty and smashes it home into the bottom right corner, sending Gulacsi the wrong way in the process. The perfect start for Nagelsmann on his return.
A penalty is given to Bayern after a handball from Kampl as he attempted to control a loose ball in the box.
Deniz Aytekin is taking look at a potential handball from Kampl in the Bayern penalty area.
ANGELINO HAS A GO!
The first shot on goal of the game comes as Leipzig break from right to left and Szoboszlai lays the ball into Angelino's path down the left. He laces a shot at goal, but it's straight at Neuer and he saves well.
SILVA AND UPAMECANO GETTING ACQUAINTED
The former Leipzig centre-back is coming up against Leipzig's new star man in attack and is taking no prisoners in the opening minutes. It's going to be a fun battle between those two today.
Bayern looking to get Lewandowski involved in their build-up play early on here, as he attempts flicks around the corner to Gnabry and Sane down the flanks. Leipzig's attack-minded full-backs will have to be on high alert.
BRINGING THE NOISE!
The atmosphere is incredible here in Leipzig inside the opening minutes with both sides making early mistakes in possession. Just getting used to this atmosphere, and the high intensity at the start.
HERE WE GO!
The ball is rolling in Leipzig for this huge game.
READY TO ROCK!
There are over 34,000 fans in the Red Bull Arena this afternoon for the first time in over 18 months and they are ready to make some big noise as Leipzig and Bayern play out a huge game at the start of the Bundesliga season.
BAYERN'S BIG NUMBERS
Bayern are unbeaten in their last six and have lost only one of 10 Bundesliga matches against Die Roten Bullen (W5, D4). Meanwhile, leading man Lewandowski has scored five times in nine league meetings with Leipzig.
Marsch has not made the desired start at Leipzig with two defeats from their opening three league games at the hands of Mainz and Wolfsburg. The American coach has spoken to Sky Germany before this game saying that "points on the board are important now" and so Leipzig will be desperate to pick up something from this game, with a second-ever win over Bayern the ultimate prize.
Nagelsmann have made an unbeaten start to the Bundesliga season with two wins and a draw so far, after their opening night 1-1 draw at Gladbach. Since then, wins over Cologne and Hertha have followed with Nagelsmann looking to keep his Bayern side at pace with those atop the table. Ahead of their opening UEFA Champions League group stage game against Barcelona on Tuesday, Bayern will be looking to keep up their winning run.
GULACSI: LEIPZIG'S CONSTANT
The only player to have played in every single meeting between Leipzig and Bayern, Peter Gulacsi, is once again set to feature today in between the sticks for Leipzig. Yussuf Poulsen, another who could join Gulacsi with that record, is on the bench.

AROUND THE LEAGUE!
There were some huge results in the Bundesliga this afternoon as Dortmund beat Leverkusen in a seven-goal thriller with Erling Haaland bagging a brace. Wolfsburg maintained their perfect start to the season at Fürth, while Mainz made it three wins out of four in Hoffenheim.
LEIPZIG TEAM NEWS
Like Davies for Bayern, Leipzig welcome back their first-choice left-back as Angelino is in to start. Laimer is also back into the starting XI in central midfield alongside Kampl with USMNT midfielder Tyler Adams dropping to the bench.
BAYERN TEAM NEWS
The big news for Bayern is that Davies is fit to start at left-back after an injury scare during the international break. Pavard is back in alongside fit-again Lucas Hernandez, the Frenchman making their first appearances of the season while Sabitzer is alongside Musiala on the bench, with Sane and Gnabry preferred.

LEIPZIG'S SLOW START
Three points from as many games is Leipzig’s worst start to a Bundesliga season. This being their first season under new head coach Jesse Marsch. That said, Die Roten Bullen were the last team to stop Bayern from scoring in competitive action, on 9 February 2020. That was back under Nagelsmann, who now faces them from within the Bayern dugout.
LINE-UPS NOT FAR AWAY!
We've got about an hour and twenty minutes until kick-off in the Red Bull Arena, and that means that we're not far away from seeing the official line-ups for both sides. Will Sabitzer start on debut for Bayern against his former side?

LEIPZIG TEAM NEWS
Angelino and Gvardiol are both over injuries, while Laimer could be preferred in central midfield in place of USA international Adams, who head coach Jesse Marsch hinted may not start after three 90-minute appearances for the Stars and Stripes. Playmaker Olmo is also pushing for his first start of the season after representing Spain at UEFA Euro 2020 and the Olympic Games. Forsberg or Szoboszlai would be candidates to make way.
BAYERN TEAM NEWS
Lewandowski was also among the goals in the recent 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying, as were Gnabry and Sane. One of the latter pair may have to settle for a place on the Bayern bench, though, following Musiala's eye-catching performances for club and country of late. Pavard is back in training, while fit-again Hernandez could make his first appearance of the season if Davies isn't passed fit. Midfielder Sabitzer is also in contention after completing his switch from Leipzig, while centre-back Upamecano faces his former employers for the first time.
TALE OF THE TAPE!
There have been 12 meetings between these two sides in total, with 10 coming in the Bundesliga. Leipzig have won just one of those, back under Ralph Hassenhütll in March 2018. Bayern have won seven in total but in recent years, games between these two sides have been the most tightly-contested of any between sides towards the top of the table and we're sure it will be the same again today.
