UNDERWAY IN LEIPZIG!

The afternoon entertainment begins in Leipzig...
Kick-off!

CAN SCHALKE CAUSE A STIR?

It's fair to say that, regardless of how well Schalke have started this season, the Royal Blues picking up a win at Leipzig today would come as a shock. But we know they are capable of doing it. Full of confidence and back in a groove that we did not see last season, this is a different Schalke team. Amine Harit will be key to them producing any result today, after his three goals and an assist in his last two games.

DREAM START FOR LEIPZIG

It's been the club's best-ever start to a Bundesliga season with 13/15 points collected so far. The current league leaders can set a new club record of 10 consecutive home games without loss if they go unbeaten today. With Poulsen back to support Werner having missed last weekend's win at Bremen while his partner was giving birth, Leipzig are in prime position to make that happen.

MCKENNIE SUPPORTING BURGSTALLER AGAIN

The American started behind Guido Burgstaller in the Schalke attack last week, which ended with a 2-1 win for the Royal Blues. It's the same again today with the usual central midfielder being employed further up the pitch.

LEIPZIG ROTATING

Julian Nagelsmann's side showing off their incredible squad depth today. Usual starters Ibrahima Konate and Lukas Klostermann are both on the bench, with Dayot Upamecano and Amadou Haidara coming in to start. Marcel Sabitzer, Emil Forsberg, Yussuf Poulsen and Timo Werner all start as expected.

MATONDO STARTS FOR SCHALKE

The Welshman is a surprise inclusion in the Schalke starting line-up for the trip to Leipzig. The 19-year-old is making his first appearance of the season having been unused on the bench last weekend at home to Mainz. He's yet to score in his seven Bundesliga appearances so far. David Wagner wanted to utilise his incredible pace against Leipzig's back three.

LEIPZIG LINE-UP!

Gulacsi - Mukiele, Upamecano, Orban (c) - Sabitzer, Haidara, Demme, Forsberg, Halstenberg - Poulsen, Werner. (SUBS:  Mvogo, Sarrachi, Konate, Ilsanker, Klostermann, Lookman, Nkunku, Cunha, Ampadu)
