LATE VAR LIFTS PADERBORN

Sven Michel's goal, coming thanks to the Video Assistant Referee being able to check the incident for offside, takes Paderborn off the bottom of the table and ahead of Cologne. It's their first away win of the season and the only away win of the weekend.

MICHEL GOAL... GIVEN!

Sven Michel's goal stands! In added time it looks as if Paderborn have won this. A shot from the edge of the box deflected off Streli Mamba into the path of Michel, who duly tucked it home in front of goal. Initially the linesman's flag was raised for offside against Mamba, but VAR overturned the decision after checking the incident.

MICHEL SCORES... OFFSIDE

Sven Michel has scored for Paderborn but it's been given as offside. We're going to check with VAR.

BITTENCOURT JUST WIDE

Rashica skips past a defender and finds Bittencourt on the right side of the Paderborn box, but his shot finds the side-netting just inches from hitting the post. Paderborn have done well to keep the Bremen attack relatively quiet so far.

10 MINUTES TO GO...

Bremen are on top, but Paderborn look dangerous on the counter. Will we see a winner in Bremen?
72'

MAMBA... OFFSIDE

A big chance for Paderborn's top scorer to opening the scoring tonight as he dribbles his way through one defender in the Bremen box before dragging his shot wide. But the flag is raised on the far side.
71'

FUN FACT

A nice little fact about Bremen's two substitutes so far today. Benjamin Goller was born in the same year that Claudio Pizarro made his Bundesliga debut (1999). They now share a pitch.
64'

EGGESTEIN WITH ANOTHER STRIKE!

This time on his left foot again from range, but the former Bayern youth product in Paderborn's net, Zingerle, handles it well and tips it over his own crossbar.
60'

RASHICA WITH A VOLLEY

The Kosovan is perfectly-placed on the edge of the Paderborn box as a Bremen set-piece is headed clear towards him. He volleys at goal first-time, but his effort whizzes wide of the mark.
58'

FIRST CHANGES OF THE DAY

Changes of personnel from both attack's here as the bleach blonde Claudio Pizarro comes on up front for Bremen, while Cauly comes on for Paderborn to join Mamba in leading the Paderborn attack.
54'

HERE COMES RASHICA

The winger is finding his feet now and taking the game by the scruff of the neck. He hasn't been able to find form with his crossing yet, whether from in-play or set-pieces, but he's becoming more involved now.
50'

BREMEN STARTING BRIGHTLY

While Rashica has actually struggled to get into the game so far, Bittencourt is everywhere making up for it. The former Dortmund, Cologne and Hoffenheim midfielder is proving a handful for the Paderborn defence. But you do feel if Bremen want to open the scoring here, Rashica will have to be involved.

SECOND HALF UNDERWAY

No changes at the break for either side as we get the second half underway.

HALF-TIME APPROACHING

Neither side will be totally happy with their performance so far, but there has been plenty of potential shown from both camps as well. We've seen 15 attempts on goal in total already, with seven coming from both Bremen and Paderborn.
35'

EGGESTEIN AGAIN!

Bremen continue to work the ball well around the Paderborn box, this time from Klaassen to Bargfrede and onto Eggestein. The young midfielder then cuts back onto his left foot and curls a shot at goal, but it drifts wide of the mark. Shots galore in the first half, which is exactly what we want to see!
33'

PADERBORN COUNTER IN FULL FLOW

The away side power forward after winning the ball from Osako and Antwi-Adjei finds Collins, who nutmegs a defender into the Bremen box before his shot on goal was blocked behind for a corner. The set-piece is dealt with by the home defence, but Paderborn's threat is starting to come into this game.
32'

BITTENCOURT DOWN

The vibrant attacking midfielder went on a lovely run forward to earn a free-kick for Bremen, but went down under Gjasula's challenge. He's limping as the game continues so we will have to see if he is able to continue as the game carries on.
30'

PAVLENKA SAVES AGAIN

Bremen's goalkeeper is the only thing standing between Paderborn and a first half lead here as Gjasula meets a corner with a glancing header, but the Bremen shot-stopper does well to make an initial save before gathering the rebound just a yard from his own goalline.
29'

VASILIADIS HAS A GO!

The Greece international midfielder, who is used to taking the ball from opposition players rather than shooting at goal himself, has a go from distance. It's always rising but it forces Pavlenka into a decent save.
25'

EGGESTEIN SO CLOSE TO THE OPENER

Lovely play from Bremen as Eggestein is played the ball on the edge by Osako and he skips past a challenge to open space on his right foot for a shot at goal. He goes for accuracy rather than power but doesn't find it and his finessed shot curls just wide of the near post.
22'

NON-STOP START HERE

Both sides are pushing forward every time they have the ball here and it's rare you'll see a player walking. Paderborn are definitely not shying away here as they continue to press forward, looking to use the pace of their forward line to good effect.
14'

SOMEHOW BREMEN NOT AHEAD

Gebre Selassie plays the ball inside from the right flank into Bittencourt in the middle and he quickly shoots at goal, forcing a save from Zingerle. The ball drops in front of him in the middle of the box though, and Klaassen is first to it. But the Dutchman's shot goes straight into the hands of the Paderborn goalkeeper. A big chance goes begging there for the home side.
8'

ANTWI-ADJEI FORCES A SAVE

The winger picks up the ball on the left corner of the Bremen box and moves onto his favoured right foot before shooting at goal. Pavlenka makes a comfortable save, with Antwi-Adjei still looking for his first Bundesliga goal.

FIRST AWAY WIN OF THE WEEKEND?

So far in the Bundesliga on Matchday 14 we have seen seven teams win at home and one draw. Can Paderborn be the first to pick up all three points on the road? It would also be their first away win of the season if they can.

KICK-OFF IN BREMEN!

The final game of the weekend is underway in Bremen.
Kick-off!

RASHICA IN FORM

The Kosovan forward has been the star of Bremen's stuttering season so far. His six goals already this season - with the first brace of his campaign coming last weekend away at Wolfsburg - have been key. The two goals last weekend helped Bremen to their first win in nine games, and it came at the home of the Bundesliga's best defence so far this season.

JUST ONE CHANGE FOR PADERBORN

The only change for the away side tonight is that Antwi-Adjej starts ahead of Holtmann this evening. Otherwise it is as you'd expect for Steffen Baumgart's squad, who will jump off the bottom of the Bundesliga table this evening if they can get a win.

MOISANDER MAKES HIS COMEBACK

The Finnish centre-back returns to the Werder Bremen squad for the first time since 1 September, having missed 10 Bundesliga games through injury. His presence is welcomed in the Bremen defence which has failed to keep a single clean sheet so far this season.

THE FINAL GAME OF THE WEEKEND

Sadly, we've come to that time in the weekend once again where only one game remains. But Werder Bremen and Paderborn have the pleasure of seeing us out of a memorable Matchday 14. Both sides won't be happy with how their seasons have gone so far, and will both be desperate for all three points tonight.
