Past history

Osnabrück head coach Timo Schultz played for then Regionalliga side Kiel from January 2003 to summer 2005, making 44 first-team appearances (four goals) plus 33 for the reserves (14 goals). He also won the regional cup twice. As a head coach, Kiel's Tim Walter has faced Osnabrück twice, losing both times at the Bremer Brücke, once with Hamburg and once with VfB Stuttgart.
