The young substitute leads a Leipzig counter-attack. Twisting and turning, he creates space for a shot, lashing it low towards the near post, but Kobel is equal to the effort to deny him.

Two of Leipzig's recent introductions, Lukeba and Haidara, see yellow for challenges which prevented BVB counter-attacks.

Marco Rose goes to the bench to freshen up for the final phase of the game. Gomis, Lukeba, and Haidara all enter the fray.

Now it's Leipzig's turn. Baku gets to the byline down the right from where he squares it to Šeško. The forward has the goal gaping, but Can pulls off a fantastic block to deny him, otherwise it looked as though Kobel was beaten.

Adeyemi slips it through for Guirassy, who has a one-on-one with Gulácsi. It looks for certain that Guirassy will score, but the Leipzig keeper pulls off a remarkable save to preserve his clean sheet.

Xavi puts in a deep delivery off of a corner from the left. It finds Openda unmarked at the far post, who goes for an audacious volley, connecting well with the strike and guiding it into the top left corner. Openda take a bow!

Raum delivers it, but it's straight into the arms of Kobel.

Baku hits a first-time cross into the BVB box. Can tries to flick it away with a backheel, but Xavi reacts well to pounce on the loose ball. He takes a snapshot, but it's straight at Kobel.

The Dortmund goal is living a charmed life. Raum puts in a long throw high up on the left. Openda flicks it onto Seiwald, working it to Baku on the edge of the box, who strikes first-time with his left foot, curling a powerful effort squarely onto the crossbar.

Raum floats a cross in from the left. Openda wins the first header, knocking it down for Baumgartner. Time appears to stand still as the Austrian lines up his shot, but Sabitzer manages to get in the way. The collision between the Austrians was a firm one, and Sabitzer has stayed down since and is receiving treatment.

Baumgartner hits a delicious trivela to release Openda down the left flank, but Dortmund manage to get back to snuff out the danger.

The wing-back is giving Anton a torrid time down Dortmund's right. Most recently, he put in another dangerous cross which Dortmund had to deal with.

That has been coming for the hosts as Leipzig profit off a lightning-fast counter-attack. Xavi plays Raum through down the left who shoots towards the far post. A full-stretch Kobel makes the save, but the ball takes a deflection off Šeško and drops kindly to Xavi, who dispatches the loose ball from close range.

It's Raum again causing problems down the left. This time, he fizzes a low cross into the path of Openda, whose first-time shot from close range has Kobel beaten but smacks against the crossbar and back out. So close to the opener for the Belgian there.

A switch of play finds Raum high up the pitch. The German cuts it back for Xavi in the middle, who can't quite fashion a shot. He lays it off to Baumgartner, whose powerful effort is blocked.

The midfielder plays an in-swinger with his right, forcing a good save from Kobel, who tips it away as the ball seemed to be dropping in. Dortmund manage to clear the second ball.

The wing-back finds himself in space down the left. He whips the ball in with pace, but Kobel palms it away. Leipzig rework it, firing a deep cross back to Raum on the far side, who cuts it back high into the middle, but the assistant had their flag raised.
