Shortly before the final whistle, Nuremberg takes advantage of more Fürth defensive confusion for their fourth strike. Jeltsch lays it across to Schleimer, who scores at the second attempt.

The substitute almost makes it 4-0, with Consbruch's sliding tackle stopping him from applying the finishing touch. The Fürth player, who was also brought on from the bench, requires treatment afterwards.

Schleimer takes Tzimas' place up front, while Lubach will play further back in midfield than the creative director Justvan.

The double goalscorer has left everything on the pitch, yet still returns after treatment. Schleimer, though, is already prepared to come on in his place.

Tzimas stops a Fürth free-kick from being taken near the halfway line and receives a yellow card for it.

Pacey Goller replaces goalscorer Emreli and should help Nuremberg cause more problems on the counter-attack.

With a three-goal lead, Nuremberg don't need to offer much going forward. Instead, they are taking a more relaxed approach.

Emreli disrupts Fürth's progress in midfield and becomes the first Nuremberg player to be cautioned.

Goalscorer Emreli blocks the ball into touch and celebrates almost as vigorously as his goal.

Justvan is brimming with confidence and plays a neat one-two down the right, but he then mishits his attempted cross.

Nuremberg continue to press the accelerator and extend their lead. Jander sets up Justvan, whose low shot is parried by Noll. Tzimas, though, reacts quickest and taps in for 3-0!

And an even bigger save! Jander sends Tzimas through, the latter running at Noll from the right-hand side. He's denied by the keeper who, makes himself big.

With that double strike within five minutes, FCN have dramatically increased their chances of victory.

Nuremberg capitalise on their momentum and score for a second time. Soaraes is nicely played through on the left, then delivers a low, sharp cross to Tzimas. He meets the pass and finishes just as impressively, a back-heel behind his standing leg making it 2-0.

Justvan serves Emreli 20 metres from goal. Without any pressure from the opposition, he can set the ball up on his strong left foot and then curl it beautifully into the left corner! Magnificent strike and it's 1-0 to the visitors.

A free-kick cross from the left finds Castrop almost unmarked on the right-hand side of the penalty area, but his header goes across the face of goal.

...because the Der Club coach is pleased with the liveliness of his team: In many situations, the Nuremberg players are a step quicker than their opponents.

Castrop lets the ball bounce deep in his own half, then sprints forward, receives the ball back and sends Emreli through. He doesn't create any real danger, but at least manages the first shot of the game - well wide to the right.
