The substitute arrives late on Schlotterbeck inside the Augburg box and picks up a yellow card.

Beck and Honsak are brought on to try and turn the tide. They almost have an immediate impact, with Ibrahimović breaking forward on the counter, but firing just over the crossbar. He is still yet to score for Heidenheim in the Bundesliga.

His influence on the game is growing. The on-loan winger has two shots from range, both of which are well blocked. For the time being, Augsburg are shutting out Heidenheim.

It's another decent opening for the underdogs. Schöpper's long-range shot is blocked, and after the ball drops favourably for Dinçki, the forward curls his effort narrowly wide. They're mounting the pressure on Augsburg, who cannot get out of their own half at the moment.

Dinkçi sets up Schöppner inside the Augsburg box, who shoots with the inside of his foot. It's well-placed, forcing Dahmen into an outstretched save. Heidenheim fancy this today...

One Conteh brother replaces another. Sirlord is on for Christian, who, aside from some wayward finishing, played very well.

Ramaj pumps the ball downfield and picks out Ibrahimović. The youngster does brilliantly to find Conteh centrally, whose shot from just outside the box is well blocked. His follow up effort is wayward, but it's another confidence-boosting pattern of pay for the away side!

Heidenheim win the ball high up the pitch. Conteh drives forward, before releasing it to Schimmer. However, the striker's touch is a tad loose, and he is then penalised for a foul on Banks. Moments later, Conteh gets on the ball again, but his cross floats harmlessly into the hands of Dahmen.

A cross seems to panic the Heidenheim stopper, who spills the ball after an attempted catch. Fortunately for the German, he is able to block Gregoritsch's follow up shot.

Heidenheim regain control of the ball after a bright few minutes for the hosts. Dinçki is eventually played in down the right channel, but his cross is well dealt with by Banks. Augsburg are yet to get into their stride.

Ibrahimović whips in an inviting cross to the near-post. Niehues gets their first, but his flicked header flies just over the crossbar.

The away side work the ball forward once again. Conteh does well to pick out Dinçki in the penalty area, but he hesitates a moment too long and allows the Augsburg defenders to clear the ball.

Heidenheim's new signing has got off to a solid start, already looking to make inroads from the left side. It's been a fairly even contest so far, with Augsburg having a penalty shout dismissed in the opening seconds.
