Lucky punch! 2-1 just before the final whistle!
Super-sub Ilić gets it done in the end. The attack comes down the left flank and Khedira whips the ball into the middle. The striker takes one touch to control and volleys it home. A beautifully crafted goal!

Stoppage time
Not much has happened, yet there are four minutes added on.
88'
Final minutes
The match is petering out, with both teams seemingly content with a point. Neither side is involved in battles at the top or bottom of the table - only their mid-table positions could still change.

Rothe shuts Tietz down
The gaolscorer would have been alone in front of goal otherwise... that was close!
79'
No way through
Zesiger's long-range effort is blocked by the first Union defender. Will there be a winning goal here?

Number six
That was Andrej Ilić's his sixth goal of the season and his second scored off the bench.
69'
Equaliser! The counter-attack pays off!
Hollerbach races almost single-handedly across the entire pitch and takes a shot. Dahmen saves it but it falls right at the feet of Ilić, who only has to tap it into the empty net. Somewhat out of nowhere, but a draw would not be an unfair result.
64'
Augsburg ease off
Union are at least trying to push forward, but they face a similar problem to Augsburg - the spark of inspiration is missing.
61'
Fresh impetus
The entire left side is being replaced at Union. Even though there's not much at stake, the capital city side don't want to end the season with 0 points.
57'
Over the bar!
Claude-Maurice advances a few metres after receiving a pass from Jakić and takes a shot from the edge of the penalty area. However, the ball sails well over the crossbar.
53'
Just over
After a corner, defender Zesiger heads the ball onto the roof of the net.
49'
Visitors first
Augsburg are allowing Union plenty of space at the beginning of the final 45 minutes of the season. However, no real attacking threat has developed so far.

Can Tietz outdo himself?
That was Tietz's seventh goal of the season, almost on par with his personal best of eight, set in his first Bundesliga season in 2023/24.
41'
Tietz gives Augsburg the lead!
A simple and straightforward attack: Onyeka plays a superb low pass directly through the gap behind the defensive line, and with his first touch, Tietz slots it into the near corner past Schwolow. What an assist from the defender!.
39'
Endless pressing
Augsburg are really lacking that spark of inspiration in the final third. Union are endlessly pressing and can't get out of their defensive position.
34'
Getting closer
Tietz delivers the ball to the far post, but Gouweleeuw can't control it properly and sends it into the side netting. Nonetheless, it was another good chance!
31'
Counter-attacks shut down
Augsburg are doing well in their defensive transitions and Union's strength - lightning counters - have not really come into play so far today.
26'
No Way Through
Juranović takes on three Augsburg players on the touchline. Wolf stops him and play continues with a throw-in.

Long ball
Hollerbach goes one-on-one against Zesiger, but the defender manages to hold his ground and clear the ball. Otherwise, the striker would have been through on goal against Dahmen.

Poor build-up play
Union can't really settle into the match. When they do have the ball, their passes aren't connecting, and Augsburg are quickly regaining possession through their attacking players.
8'
Schwolow!
Tremendous save from the fit-again keeper! Claude-Maurice fires a shot from distance and Schwolow just manages to get his fingertips to the ball, clearing it for a corner.
4'
No one there!
Hollerbach makes the run to the byline and then plays it across the goal, where the ball rolls unhindered through the entire six-yard box with no-one to tap it in. But it would have been offside anyway!
2'
Tietz wasting no time!
After a cross, the striker brings the ball down with his chest - but his volley goes just over the crossbar! A good early chance!
1'
Kick-off!
The ball is now rolling in Augsburg.

Duo return
Tim Skarke and Josip Juranović are both in the Union starting XI for the first time since the 0-0 draw against Leverkusen on Matchday 29 five weeks ago.
Rotation
Union make five changes to their most recent starting XI, the most since Matchday 20 in the 0-0 draw against Leipzig in early February. Among others, Schwolow will be on the pitch at kick-off, while Preu will make his first-ever start for Union.

Compared to last week, Jess Thorup makes two changes to the starting line-up. Marius Wolf returns after missing one match, and Phillip Tietz starts for the first time in seven weeks, replacing the suspended Essende. Tietz's last start was on Matchday 27, in the 1-1 draw against Hoffenheim.

A sigh of relief
Having flirted with a relegation battle earlier on in the season, Union Berlin ensured their safety in advance of today's final game. Unbeaten in eight before their Matchday 33 loss to Heidenheim, Steffen Baumgart engineered an impressive turnaround in the capital, meaning they go into today's game with a huge weight off their shoulders. Augsburg can be equally relaxed, as they sit two places and six points above Union. Jess Thorup's side were in contention for European football up until a few weeks ago, and come into this final day already four points better off than their tally from 2023/24.

First for Union
The Berlin side are unbeaten in their past four away matches and have never before gone five unbeaten on the road within a Bundesliga season.
Augsburg acclaim
Augsburg will end the season with their third-highest Bundesliga points total ever but will finish in the bottom half of the table for a tenth consecutive season.
