Post!
A huge chance at the death as Mounié fires at the post with the last shot of the game. So close to a winner!
87'
Wide
Ginter is found in the middle, but his header sails past the post. He will be disappointed with that one.
87'
Building up a little steam
The momentum has swung slightly in favour of the away team, who look more likely to find a winner here.
77'
Easy stop
Dōan's effort lacks precision as is therefore held comfortably by Dahmen. The Japan international hasn't really stamped his authority on this encounter, but there is still time to do so!
74'
Under 20 minutes remaining
The teams still can't be separated. Who will take control of this match and go all out for the win?

Tietz denied
The striker tries a header from a long way out, but is never troubling Atubolu who grasps it with ease.
63'
Great stop
Less than 60 seconds after coming on, Beste is through one-on-one with Dahmen. The Augsburg man, though, denies him by making himself big. That was Freiburg's best chance of this match by some distance.
58'
Save!
Almost immedietely after making history, Dahmen is called upon to keep out Röhl's low drive. That was Freiburg's first shot on target of the match.
58'
New record
Dahmen surpasses Hitz's 398-minute record without conceding, the longest such run for Augsburg.

Huge opportunity
On the brink of half-time, Tietz is found in space in the middle by Claude-Maurice, but it is straight at Atubolu. He should have done better there!

Can't keep it down
Jensen's header isn't troubling Atubolu at all there.

Augsburg exerting pressure
The home side are beginning to threaten with that Onyeka attempt.
25'
Great stop!
The first key moment of the match as Atubolu produces a fantastic save to tip Onyeka's rasping shot from the edge of the area onto the crossbar. Still all square here!

Few chances
Both teams are hard to beat, and that is certainly clear from this quiet opening 23 minutes.

Good save
Tietz's free-kick from the edge of the area is hit with venom, but Atubolu gathers it well, even if it was straight at him.

History beckons?
Should Augsburg not concede before the 56th minute, Dahmen will set the a club record for the longest run without conceding for a goalkeeper. Marwin Hitz currently leads the way with 398 minutes.

Coming into the game
The visitors are now enjoying a spell of position as they look to stamp their authority on this clash.
3'
Positive start
Three early corners for the hosts and although none of them come to anything substantial, they are starting on the front foot.

The stakes
Augsburg's impressive run of form in 2025 has left them 14 points above the drop zone so they should be safe for another season. They're currently just seven points off a top-six place though, so any vague European ambitions could become a lot more concrete with a win here. Freiburg, meanwhile, are only three points behind third-placed Frankfurt, so victory would maintain their push for Champions League qualification.
Never change a winning team, part two
Augsburg coach Jess Thorup has also named an unchanged line-up following last week's 3-0 win against Gladbach, in which Alexis Claude-Maurice hit a hat-trick.

Never change a winning team
Freiburg boss Julian Schuster has kept faith with the same 11 players that started the 5-0 mauling of Werder Bremen last week. That means attacking duo Vincenzo Grifo and Ritsu Dōan should pull the strings once more, with winter signing Niklas Beste on the bench again.
