Into three extra minutes after the 90.
10 times under pressure
Freiburg have now scored a league-high six goals from dead balls this campaign.
Almost the hero again as he digs one out from the left of the area but turns away in annoyance as it flies just wide of the far top corner.
I <3 BERLIN
Schade certainly loves facing Hertha. This is the youngster's first goal since the 3-0 win at home to the Berliners in February.
DRAW A FAIR RESULT?
It's not Petersen who's done the job off the bench but Kevin Schade! Christensen comes for a fumbles a free-kick into the box, dropping it right at the feet of the Freiburg youngster who makes no mistake, slotting the ball between some legs to bring us all square again.
500 UP FOR FREIBURG
But not really a stat they want. They've now conceded 500 times in the Bundesliga under Christian Streich. But it's not a bad stat considering he's been in charge very nearly 11 years.
HERE COMES PETERSEN
The man Freiburg have so often turned to in situations like this.
Freiburg have the Bundesliga's greatest super sub in history on the bench in Nils Petersen, but Hertha's Marco Richter now has an assist to go with his two goals as a substitute this season following his recovery from testicular cancer.
SAME AMOUNT OF ATTEMPTS...
A huge goal for the hosts as their statistical chances of winning jump to 70% compared to 34% when they equalised in the first half. Freiburg's chances are now down to 9%, having started the game at 40%.
SERDAR FOR HERTHA!
© IMAGO / Matthias Koch
Puff of the cheeks from the Freiburg top scorer as he gets goalside of his marker to meet a free-kick but can only head wide.
Jovetic goes for a 40-yeard lob with Flekken off his line, but it's well off target.
A rash lunge from the English defender as he catches Grifo and immediately holds his hand up to accept his fate.
WILD FROM TOUSART
The Hertha midfielder sees his name up in lights from the right of centre 20 yards out. It's well, well over and into the Olympiastadion terraces.
A very good first half to watch at the Olympiastadion. It's been energetic throughout as Freiburg first took the lead before a Lukebakio penalty brought things level again. Much more of that after the break please!
The midfielder gets himself into the box and on the end of a chipped ball over the top. He's on the stretch but gets his head to it. Flekken is scrambling but able to watch it fly over his crossbar.
OVER FROM GRIFO
Big build-up as Grifo and Günter stand over a free-kick 20 yards out. It's the former who takes but bends it well over the bar. The home crowd cheers as the Freiburg man rubs his face in disappointment.
This is the third home game in a row that Hertha have equalised after falling behind, also doing so against Leverkusen and Hoffenheim.
NOTHING IN IT...
Lukebakio has now netted four times this season, doubling his tally from the whole of 2021/22. His penalty was also the first goal Hertha have scored from a set piece, while it was also the first Freiburg had conceded.
It's a rapid counter from the hosts through Ejuke down the right, but he can't quite wrap his foot around the ball as the angle narrows and he hits the side netting.
That equaliser has thrown Freiburg's Win Probability right the other way, now even below the 40% it was at kick-off. Hertha are now at 34%.
Flekken falls to his left, Lukebakio left-foots the ball over to the other side and Hertha are level all of a sudden!
Günter is saying it was very close to him. Schröder is in contact with the VAR in Cologne but the decision stands.
Christian Günter is adjudged to have handled in the box and referee Schröder points to the spot.
Ten of Freiburg's 13 Bundesliga goals this season have been scored by summer signings.
A SMIDGE OF CONSOLATION FOR HERTHA
Freiburg winning now means Hertha fans at least won't have to see city rivals Union at the top of the table. That could obviously still change later on...
The Montenegrin gets ahead of his marker at a corner and meets it on the volley at the near post but can't turn the ball on target.
The goal has substantially increased Freiburg's probability of victory today.
KYEREH WITH THE BREAKTHROUGH!
Two summer signings combine as Doan takes down a long ball into the box with his chest, twists this way and that to deceive the Hertha defence before squaring for Kyereh arriving around the penalty spot and he slots through a couple of bodies to give the - as it stands - Bundesliga leaders the lead with his third goal in as many games.
CENTRE-BACKS ON TOP
Marc-Oliver Kempf Philipp Lienhart
TOO MUCH FROM DODI
The Belgian tries to go it along down the right. Jovetic had pulled away in the middle but Lukebakio chooses not to use him and is soon crowded out on the right of the box.
OVER THE BAR
First official effort from the visitors as Gregoritsch meets a cross from the left but he heads over.
DANGER FROM FREIBURG!
A long ball over the top finds Kyereh in behind and he knocks it past the out-rushing Christensen. He's forced wide so opts to cross instead of go for goal, but Gregoritsch can only find the side netting at the far post. It all may have been for nothing anyway with Kyereh probably offside.
There is the first chance of note as Lukebakio goes through the middle but fires wide.
IN THE MIDDLE THIRD
There's been a few touches for both goalkeepers but the play has mostly been happening in the middle third so far as the two teams size each other up.
MUCH AT STAKE
Will Hertha get a first home win of the season? The Bundesliga Match Facts Win Probability puts their chances at 36%. The stats suggest Freiburg have a 40% chance of taking all three points that would send them clear at the top of the table before Union face Stuttgart later.
PLAYERS ARE OUT IN BERLIN
We've already seen seven goals scored in Gladbach today. What will the next 90 minutes in the capital bring us?

FREIBURG TEAM NEWS
If it ain't broken... Freiburg start with the same XI for the sixth fixture in a row after Michael Gregoritsch recovered from the bruised pelvis that forced him off in the first half against Nantes on Thursday. However, coach Christian Streich is missing today as he remains in isolation. Assistant Lars Voßler will be in charge of things on the touchline - the third time he's deputised for Streich in a Bundesliga game.
HERTHA TEAM NEWS
Coach Sandro Schwarz makes two changes to his side from last weekend's 1-1 draw with Hoffenheim as the Berliners go in search of a first home win of the season. Augustin Rogel makes his first start with Filip Uremovic injured, while Stevan Jovetic gets the nod over Wilfried Kanga in the usually settled front three.

BIG GAME AHEAD !
Welcome one and all as the Bundesliga's super Sunday continues. This afternoon's game pits high-flying Freiburg, who are looking to take provisional pole position here, against a Hertha team who could really do with a win on home soil to push themselves away from the relegation zone.
