FREIBURG GOING SECOND
As things stand, Freiburg are going second in the Bundesliga standings, just one point behind leaders Bayern Munich. Cologne will be down in 12th at the end of Matchday 13, if things stay as they are here.
Steffen Baumgart has opted for a triple swap, with Thielmann, Schindler and Huseinbasic entering the fray.
Gregoritsch has scored three of his five goals this season with headers. Only Bremen's Niclas Füllkrug has managed to score as many headed goals this term.
Freiburg are in command now. Gregoritsch powers in a header to double the hosts' lead and Cologne are in trouble.
Maina is involved twice in quick succession as Cologne look to hit back. Flekken's error allows the midfielder in to shoot, with the former recovering to save. Maina then looks to cross from the near post but the ball stops underneath the Freiburg custodian, who gathers gratefully.
Cologne attack, Freiburg break. Gregoritsch plays in the perfect pass for Jeong to chase. The attacker takes a few strides forward before sending a shot across Schwäbe and in at the far post.

Doan goes down in the area and there are shouts for a penalty. The referee waves away the protests and on we go.
GREGORITSCH HAS A GO
Gregoritsch wellies a left-footed shot that flies away from the target and ends up smacking Doan before going wide.

This time the visitors really should be in front. The ball is presented to Skhiri right in front of goals, but the 27-year-old skies an effort miles over the crossbar. That was a let-off for the hosts.

KILIAN STOPS COLOGNE
Doan taps a pass in for Kübler, who smacks a shot at goal from close range. Kilian makes a superb sliding block and the defender is soon receiving a congratulatory hug from goalkeeper Schwäbe.
FREIBURG'S WING PLAY
Freiburg's attacks have mainly come down the right flank, where lively full back Lukas Kübler has crossed from three times.

Günter gets a little too much power on his centre from the left but Marvin Schwäbe prefers to get a touch on it nonetheless, the keeper tipping the pass away from danger.
FLEKKEN SAVES FREIBURG
Kainz twists and turns inside the Freiburg box before firing one off to the far corner. Flekken is there with a one-handed, diving save to steer the ball away from danger.
GRIFO HAS A POP
Grifo slams one at the target but Schwäbe is there to make a two-handed save to keep this game level.
The hosts pile forward early on and a cutback finds Günter on the edge of the box. It's on his weaker right and he fires it into a defender.
BIG CHANCE FOR FREIBURG
With Union Berlin having just lost at Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich are back on the Bundesliga summit. But it means Freiburg have a chance to go back into second place with victory here. Visitors Cologne are looking to move back into the top half of the table.

Steffen Baumgart makes four changes from the side that drew with Nice in the UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday. Benno Schmitz, Luca Kilian, Eric Martel and Linton Maina come in, with Kingsley Schindler, Timo Hübers, Denis Huseinbasic and Sargis Adamyan dropping to the bench. There’s still no Jonas Hector as he struggles with a foot problem.
