FULL-TIME: BAYERN 1-1 BREMEN

Coman spares Bremen's blushes at the Allianz Arena. Bayern were not at their best, but Werder deserve real credit. Only the great Manuel Neuer denied them a first win against Bayern since 2008.

CHONG ON

Here comes Man United loanee Tahith Chong. Can he use his pace to get in behind Bayern's high line?

CHOUPO-MOTING!!!!

Bayern should be in front! Alaba lofts a ball over the Bremen defence for Sane. He lays it off for Choupo-Moting on the edge of the six-yard box, but the Cameroonian spoons over. Was that the chance?!
83'

BREMEN THREAT

Rashica tears away on the counter, but can't make anything of the opening. Sargent creates another presentable opening moments later, only for Goretzka to slide in out of nowhere and direct the American's goal-bound strike wide. Werder could still nick it!

BAYERN SETTING UP CAMP...

... in the Bremen half as a Müller cross is diverted to safety by Pavlenka. The dying stages are going to feel like an eternity to Werder...

COMAN THE BAVARIAN

That was Coman's first goal of the season - and first since his Champions League final winner against PSG.
68'

FRESH LEGS

What a time for Flick to throw on Gnabry and Sane. Choupo-Moting is also on to give Lewandowski some much-needed support. Bittencourt, who's on a yellow, is replaced by young Felix Agu for Bremen
62'

BAYERN LEVEL!

Shades of the Champions League final as Coman rises highest at the back post to score for Bayern. Goretzka supplied the cross - game on!

PLAN B NEEDED

Bayern have gone a little stale. It's surely only a matter of time before Flick turns to Gnabry and Sane. Lewandowski just hasn't had the service he's accustomed to.
53'

OFF THE BAR!

Bayern so close to the equaliser through Costa. He cuts inside onto his favoured left foot and rattles the crossbar from a good 18 yards. The ball took a slight deflection on its way, and bounced just in front of the line before Werder could clear.
51'

CHANCES

Rashica floats an effort into the arms of Neuer. Bayern work it well up the other end, with Costa showing a great touch to keep the chance alive. Musiala shifts the ball to Alaba, who fires straight at Pavlenka from a tight angle. A pass was arguably the better option.
48'

RASHICA!

Gah! Bremen could regret this one. Sargent turns provider once again to feed Rashica. He sizes up Neuer's goal, but is off balance, on his left foot and under the cosh from Boateng. His eventual shot is wide.

DON'T GET TOO CARRIED AWAY

Bayern trail Bremen in Munich. The last time they did that, the record champions ran out 6-1 winners...

HALF-TIME: BAYERN 0-1 BREMEN

Bremen are good value for their lead at the Allianz Arena. But for Neuer, they would have scored earlier. Bayern - a touch disjointed at times - have work to do; work that probably involves Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry coming off the bench.

BREMEN LEAD!

Well, well. Sargent turns Martinez inside-out on the right. The American powers forward and puts the ball on a plate for Maxi Eggestein, who slots into the far corner with a superb first-time finish on his weaker left foot.

TOPRAK AGAIN

Musiala does really well to retain possession in the Bremen box, under pressure from a ruck of visiting shirts. He weaves free, but there's Toprak to poke the ball behind, just as the 17-year-old was about to pull the trigger.
41'

MUSIALA DENIED

Brilliant from Bayern, and Musiala in particular. He exchanges passes with Lewandowski, who takes out the Werder defence with a deft flick. Musiala drifts in off the left and takes the shot on, but Toprak slides in to toe it wide. Fine margins - that was goal-bound all the way.
35'

NICE MOVE

Bayern with a prolonged spell of possession. Coman shows his man a few step-overs in the Bremen box before telegraphing the overlapping run of Alaba. There are men in the middle, but Alaba's cross is straight down the throat of Pavlenka. Let-off for Werder.
33'

BITTENCOURT IN THE THICK OF IT

Bittencourt, who scored Bremen's equaliser against Cologne prior to the international break, concedes a free-kick in a dangerous position. Alaba slides it low, to the right of the Bremen wall, but Bittencourt recovers to prevent Müller from getting a cross in.

MUSIALA!

The England U21 reacts fastest as Pavlenka spills a cross from Costa, but Groß gets in the way to deny him a goal on his full debut.

COMAN IN PAIN

Kingsley Coman dances into the Bremen area, before Toprak intervenes. The Bremen defender wins the ball cleanly, but catches Coman on the follow-through. Despite the absence of any penalty shouts, the referee consults the VAR. Nothing doing. Looks like the Bayern winger will run it off, too. Everyone's a winner.
24'

BITTENCOURT!

Another big Bremen chance. Rashica is winning the battle against Pavard, the Kosovo forward driving up the flank and hanging up a teasing ball towards the far post. Bittencourt catches it on the volley, but can only find the side-netting.
20'

PRECAUTION

Hernandez can't continue after that earlier fall. Leon Goretzka is on, with Alaba moving to left-back and Martinez into the centre of the defence
16'

BRILLIANT FROM NEUER

Josh Sargent has the goal at his mercy following a great bit of play from Rashica. Any other goalkeeper, and that finds the net, but Neuer sticks out a boot to repel the American's effort. Augustinsson pings the loose ball towards the bottom corner, but Neuer dives full stretch to push it away. Jaw-dropping goalkeeping from the world's best ever in his position. Sargent knows it.
13'

HERNANDEZ CONCERN

Lucas Hernandez goes up for a high ball with Theo Gebre Selassie. He wins the challenge, but lands with an almighty thump from a serious height. The Frenchman stays down clutching his hip area, before gingerly returning to his feet. Hopefully nothing more than a bump - Alphonso Davies is already out, remember.

ALL BAYERN

Backs-to-the-wall stuff already for Bremen. Bayern are hemming them in as Kohfeldt steps out of the dugout to offer a few words of encouragement.
3'

BAYERN PROBING

Lovely football from the champions. Müller's involved as the ball's shifted out wide left to Douglas Costa, whose flighted cross-shot sails just past the upright. Seventeen-year-old Jamal Musiala was involved, too, from a starting position on the opposite flank.

ONE-SIDED FIXTURE

Bayern clinched their eighth successive Bundesliga title and 29th overall thanks to Robert Lewandowki's solitary strike in Bremen late last season. The reverse fixture ended 6-1 in the record champions' favour, despite Milot Rashica giving Werder a 1-0 lead. Barcelona's Philippe Coutinho scored three and assisted two in what was his best display in a Bayern shirt. Victory today would be Bayern's 23rd in a row in all competitions against the Green-Whites.

THE LEAGUE LADDER

Bayern's 3-2 win over Borussia Dortmund took them two clear at the summit, prior to the international break. Bremen haven't lost since Matchday 1, but have drawn their last four on the spin and sit ninth.

A DAY OF MILESTONES

The contest also represents Bremen counterpart Florian Kohfeldt's 100th in a Bundesliga dugout, Manuel Neuer's 400th competitive outing for Bayern and Javi Martinez's 250th. Thomas Müller, meanwhile, moves up to fifth on Bayern's all-time list of appearance makers on 549 games, behind Sepp Maier, Oliver Kahn, Gerd Müller and Franz Beckenbauer.

FLICK AT 50

Just over a year after succeeding Niko Kovac, Hansi Flick takes charge of his 50th competitive match as Bayern head coach. He's overseen a remarkable 45 wins from 49 games, collecting more titles (five) than matches lost (four). What's more, his side are averaging 3.3 goals per Bundesliga assignment on his watch - the highest mean of any coach in the league's history.

BAYERN TEAM NEWS

Jerome Boateng starts in the place of centre-back Niklas Süle, but Leon Goretzka, Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane are all among the substitutes following their exertions with Germany during the November international break. Javi Martinez, Douglas Costa and Jamal Musiala - the latter for his full Bundesliga debut - come in. Fit-again summer signing Tanguy Nianzou is on the Bayern bench for the first time.

BREMEN TEAM NEWS

Jean-Manuel Mbom makes way in the Bremen midfield for Kevin Möhwald, while the return of Ludwig Augustinsson at left-back relegates Niklas Moisander to the bench. Milot Rashica continues in attack alongside Leonardo Bittencourt, with US international Josh Sargent in the lone striker's role.
