STUNNING WOLFSBURG SEAL WIN IN SECOND HALF

Three goals in the second half after a dominant performance after the break. The first half was a breathless, end-to-end encounter which could have seen Hoffenheim go 2-0 up if Kramaric had converted his penalty. But Wolfsburg made them pay, and it could have been worse. A combined 41 shots on goal in that game: Incredible!

IT SHOULD BE FIVE!

Two huge chances for Arnold to complete his brace at the end as he has a shot blocked in the box. The ball falls back to him and he shoots at goal again, but this time Baumann makes a fantastic save to deny him just before the end.

BACK UNDERWAY

The second half begins, and the drama is sure to follow after that entertaining first half...

WEGHORST PUTS THE CHEERY ON TOP

Superb cross from the left wing from Arnold is perfectly placed for Weghorst to open up, and smash into the back of the net beyond Baumann. A clinical performance from the Wolves and a stunning result on the road.

ARNOLD SEALS THE DEAL!

Moments after Malli had fluffed his lines with a big chance, Maxi Arnold does the business to seal what is a huge win for Wolfsburg in the battle for European places. He is played in down the left wing by Weghorst and shoots at the near post after charging into the box. Baumann won't be happy as he's beaten at his near post again.

FINAL 15 MINUTES

Hoffenheim, as you'd imagine, now taking control of possession here as we come towards the crucial final period of the game. Can they make the most of it to bring the game level for a fantastic finale?

WEGHORST MAKES BAUMANN PAY

A deep cross into the box and towards the back post from Tisserand loops over Adams and meets Weghorst, who heads it down towards the near post. Baumann is well-positioned, and you'd expect him to deal with the danger, but the ball creeps through his hands and over the line instead...

ADAMS NOW HEADS WIDE

As good a chance as Szalai's now falls to Adams, who meets the ball from a corner with his head. But the defender can't get his effort on target.
63'

SZALAI HEADS WIDE

Kramaric does well to get the ball across the face of goal, begging for someone to poke it into the net from close-range. Szalai meets it, but can't get enough of his head on the ball to push it over the line.
61'

GUILAVOGUI CAN'T POKE IT HOME

The first chance of the half comes for the away side, and the Wolfsburg captain has his head in his hands. A cross to the back post from Steffen beats everyone and Guilavogui continues his run to meet the ball but doesn't get the best contact, and scrambles to try and poke it home as he and the ball roll towards Baumann, but the goalkeeper gets to the ball first.
61'

DEFENCE BEATING ATTACK SO FAR

In a huge contrast to the first half, defence is definitely showing better than attack in this second half as both sides struggle to find chances on goal.
54'

ALMOST PERFECT FOR KADERABEK

Szalai lobs the ball towards the back post where he spots Kaderabek's run, but the wing-back can't pick up the ball in the sky as he tries to position himself well. Instead, he misses the ball as he stretches to poke it towards goal.
51'

WOLVES STARTING WELL

Certainly a slower start to this second half, but Wolfsburg can say they've had the better of the possession in the opening minutes. No chances on goal yet, though.

SHOTS, SHOTS, SHOTS: EVERYBODY!

Incredibly, there have been 11 shots taken by either side in this first half at the PreZero Arena. How many will we have in the second half?

FANTASTIC FIRST HALF IN HOFFENHEIM

A half that went one way and the other, and the back again with some outstanding goalkeeper and even better finishing. Szalai opened the scoring with a nice touch at the near post, before Kramaric hit the post from the spot instead of doubling the lead. Baumann was showing off his super-human abilities before William produced his and every other goalkeeper's kryptonite - an unstoppable shot. Long may this fun continue...

NOTHING BAUMANN COULD DO ABOUT THAT

An absolute stunner from William, and that's exactly the kind of goal it was going to take to beat Baumann. A low cross from the right wing runs through to the back post for William to pick it up. Just inside the box, he cuts past one defender and curls a shot towards goal from 15 yards, and Baumann can only watch as it nestles in his top corner.

BAUMANN AGAIN MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

The Hoffenheim goalkeeper is the sole reason that Wolfsburg have yet to find the net here. Maxi Arnold steals the ball from Grillitsch just outside the Hoffenheim box and shoots at goal on his right foot, forcing Baumann to make a great reaction save and parry the ball away.
38'

MEHMEDI GOES CLOSE

A quick free-kick from the left wing allows Mehmedi to run at goal and take a shot from the edge of the box. It's always moving from left to right, but only goes inches wide of Baumann's far post.
27'

BAUMANN IN THE WAY AGAIN

The Hoffenheim shot-stopper has been in the right place at the right time on several occasions so far. This time, he holds on to a close-range header from Knoche which was heading for the back of the home side's net.
25'

SCHULZ GOES ALONE

Fantastic run down the left wing from the wing-back as he almost goes from box-to-box up the pitch. His shot at the end of his run is blocked behind, as Hoffenheim continue to pile on the pressure since taking the lead.
23'

SUPERB START HERE

After two world-class saves from Baumann kept things level, Hoffenheim took the lead and could easily have two or three more goals. Chances for Belfodil, Kramaric (from the spot) and Szalai have all come and gone. It's been an action-packed opening period and there are surely more goals to come in this one.
18'

WILLIAM NOW SUSPENDED

The Brazilian full-back picks up a yellow card and has reached the limit for bookings, and will therefore miss Wolfsburg's next game at home to Nuremberg.
14'

MISSED!

Kramaric sends the goalkeeper the wrong way with his spot-kick, but he can only hit the post. It remains just a one-goal lead for the home side.
14'

HOFFENHEIM PENALTY!

VAR checks the situation and awards the penalty after Schulz was brought down by Knoche and Klaus.
13'

OFF THE BAR!

Another stunning save, this time from Pervan, keeps Belfodil's effort out as he tapped Kramaric's cross on towards goal. VAR is having a check on the situation in the box around it for a possible penalty.

HOFFENHEIM SCORE ON THE BREAK

Quick movement in midfield saw the ball played forward to Kramaric who had space in front of him. He played a difficult pass out to Schulz, which worked the German international, but he took it on the stretch before crossing low into the box. Szalai's run met the ball, and a neat flick past Pervan has put Hoffenheim ahead.

BELFODIL HITS THE SIDE-NETTING

The Algerian had just headed over the bar from a corner a few minutes ago, and had his second chance of the game with the ball at his feet. He shoots low at goal from the right corner of the box, but sliced it slightly, sending it into the side-netting of Pervan's goal.
4'

OFF THE BAR!

What an effort from Klaus, who smashes the ball towards goal from distance and Baumann reacts superbly to push the ball onto his own crossbar before it is then cleared by his defence. Incredible start here from the away side.
3'

MEHMEDI FORCES A BIG SAVE

The ball is nodded down to Mehmedi from a defensive clearance and the attacking midfielder volleys the ball at goal, forcing an incredible save from Oliver Baumann to tip the ball past the top corner of the net.

CHANGE FOR HOFFENHEIM

Due to a back injury picked up in the warm-up, Benjamin Hübner has been dropped to the bench for Hoffenheim and is replaced by Kasim Adams.

WOLFSBURGS DEFENSIVE TROUBLES

Bruno Labbadia has had to do without John Brooks and Jerome Roussillon in his team today, as well as Daniel Ginczek missing out in attack. All three suffering from injuries in the lead-up to this game which has forced them to not even be able to travel.
