Poulsen in again
The Dane pokes wide at the near post from Xavi's ball in from the left.

Four additional minutes indicated
The third goal has sapped Hoffenheim's resilience after they performed strongly for a long period with ten men. Leipzig look the more likely side to net a late strike.
89'
Leipzig heading up to fifth
The three points would take Leipzig up to fifth for now, just a point behind fourth-placed Mainz, who are drawing at home to Holstein Kiel.

Poulsen puts the seal on it?
Leipizig's record appearance maker strikes his first Bundesliga goal of the season, at a vital time! The Dane's shot within minutes of coming onto the pitch is parried away by Baumann, and Tidiam Gomis heads down to Poulsen, who turns and tucks just inside the corner of the net. VAR checks if Poulsen handled it when controlling the ball, but the goal stands.

Gulácsi double save!
The ten men of Hoffenheim burst Leipzig open on the break, with Anton Stach charging to the edge of the box before laying it on for Valentin Gendrey to strike. Gulácsi gets down well to deny him and then stops Bischof too on the rebound.

Šeško through on goal!
Šeško gets a decent chance for a third, racing through on Oliver Baumann but lifting his shot over both the goalkeeper and the bar.
62'
Equaliser ruled out
Touré hits a cross that Castello Lukeba turns into his own net in attempting to clear. It is flagged for offside, and that decision is confirmed after a VAR check.
59'
Free-kick to Leipzig
Kramarić and Xavi get in a tangle 20 yards out, and the hosts are awarded a set piece in a promising position. It's worked intelligently to Gomis, who hits wide.
57'
Hoffenheim having to run for it
Leipzig are hitting the ball around at ease without any urgency to look for openings. That's a tactic that makes sense when they are in front against ten men who are being forced to chase around and will likely tire.

Leipzig looking likely
The hosts win a corner as they look to extend their lead. Raum tucks it short to Xavi, who whips the ball in from the right, but Baumann saves.
47'
Action at both ends
Šeško has an effort cleared just in front of Baumann as Leipzig look for a third, before Kramarić takes the ball towards the hosts' area on the break, hits a shot that is blocked and smashes another a fraction wide.
46'
Back underway in Leipzig
The hosts restart with two half-time changes, while Hoffenheim have also made a substitution at the break.

Baku fires Leipzig in front!
The hosts have raced back in front before the break, with the ball chested down by Touré after a cross from the right. Ridle Baku latches onto the loose ball to rifle it into the net from just inside the area - his first goal for Leipzig!
40'
Quiet phase
Hoffenheim are coping well since the red card, with Leipzig bossing possession but not looking in a hurry to force their way through. With the spring sun blazing down, we look set to head into the break with the scores level.
35'
Bischof has a go
The young Hoffenheim goalscorer is clearly in confident mood and hits a volley from 20 yards out - a good effort, but it flies wide.

Hoffenheim reduced to ten men
Minutes after levelling, Leipzig are now set to have a numerical advantage for the remaining 70-odd minutes as Leo Østigård is sent off for fouling Loïs Openda and denying a clear goalscoring opportunity.

Brilliant Bischof blasts Hoffenheim ahead!
How about that? Hoffenheim take the lead in Leipzig, and it comes from Gulácsi gifting the ball away to Touré from a clearance. The Hoffenheim youngster turns it across to Bischof, who smashes a brilliant swirling drive past the goalkeeper and into the net from 30 yards out!
10'
Orbán over
A Leipzig corner falls back to Šeško just outside the box. He hits an effort that is blocked by a defender and falls to Willi Orbán. We know how much attacking threat the Leipzig captain offers, but he smashes that one over.
6'
Hoffenheim on the break again
Another good early moment for the visitors sees Bülter and Touré link up, but Bülter doesn't quite get the ball where he wanted and it goes behind for a corner.
4'
Booking for Bazoumana
The pacy youngster races into a challenge 35 metres out from the Leipzig goal and is the first man to get a booking.
2'
Toure troubles Leipzig!
An early chance for Hoffenheim as 19-year-old Bazoumana Touré races clear of David Raum to meet a deep pass and force a double save from the alert Gulácsi.

Attacking duo on the mend
Both Adam Hložek and Max Moerstedt are in contention to be involved against Leipzig. On Hložek, Ilzer explained: "The hope is to have him in the squad. There was a mixture of individual training and training with the team to see how his injury reacted. He was out for a long time so we need to see how his fitness levels are." Similarly, on Moerstedt: "Max was back in training today and we will see after tomorrow's training session if he can play a part on Saturday."

Very different goals
With the two teams at opposite ends of the table currently, they'll have very different motivations going into this game. Leipzig will look to end a poor run of form under new coach Zsolt Löw, and strengthen their grip on a European football place, while Hoffenheim will try to climb as far up the table as possible in the remaining games.
