Half-time: Düsseldorf 1-0 Münster
Düsseldorf deservedly go into the break with a 1-0 lead. Kownacki scored with a header and later missed a chance to make it 2-0 when unmarked. Fortuna have dominated in the air and shown the clearer attacking moves. Münster have put up a good fight, becoming braver as the half went on, but still haven't posed enough of a threat. But it's still all to play for in the second half!

Good opportunity
Lorenz wins a free kick 30 metres from the goal in a central position. The captain takes the set piece himself, but the delivery is headed out of the danger zone.

Too imprecise
The first attacking move comes from the visitors. Kyerewaa and Pick run towards the Düsseldorf defensive line, but Kyerewaa's pass to Pick is too far and so the situation fizzles out.

Last-minute change
Mees has injured himself during warm-up. Kyerewaa will start in his place.
Two changes for Fortuna
Tim Oberdorf and Matthias Zimmermann are now added to the already long list of absentees at Fortuna with their suspensions. Oberdorf had not missed a single minute this season. At least there is a returnee to the starting side with Nicolas Gavory. Myron van Brederode also come into the side. Five players from the U23s are once again sitting on the bench.
Batmaz starts
Münster make two changes from the 1-1 draw against Braunschweig. Niko Koulis is ill and Hólmbert Friðjónsson is suspended. David Kinsombi and Malik Batmaz come into the team for them. For Batmaz, this is his first start eight months after his cruciate ligament rupture. He has already been substituted on in the last three matches.
Münster starting XI
Schenk - Schad, Scherder, Bazzoli, Kirkeskov - Kinsombi, Hendrix - Pick, Mees, Lorenz - Batmaz
Düsseldorf starting XI
Kastenmeier - Gavory, Hoffmann, Siebert - Heyer, Appelkamp, Jóhannesson, Fridriksson - Schmidt, van Brederode - Kownacki
Daniel Thioune on facing Münster
"It's impressive what Münster have achieved in the past two years. Two consecutive promotions is anything but ordinary. Two years ago, they were playing against our U23s – now they're guests in our stadium. They've worked hard for this and absolutely deserve it."
Sascha Hildmann on facing Düsseldorf
"Düsseldorf are a top team. To hold our own there, we need to make better use of the transition moments. Overall, I expect a good and offensive match."
Seven goals
Münster's last away victory in Düsseldorf dates back to October 2011, when Marek Lesniak (brace) and Marco Antwerpen were among the goalscorers for the Eagles in a 4-3 win.
Memories of 2005
The last Düsseldorf victory against Münster was a 1-0 triumph in their last home match against Preußen in November 2005. Fortuna's manager at the time was Uwe Weidemann, and players like Marcus Feinbier and Andreas 'Lumpi' Lambertz were on the pitch.
Record favours Münster
Including matches in the Regionalliga, there have been 10 competitive fixtures between the two clubs this millennium, with Münster winning eight and Fortuna victorious twice. The last time the points were shared was in 1969 (1-1 in Münster, with goals from Werner Tonk and Reiner Geye).
Fortuna have a score to settle
Düsseldorf are playing their 19th season in Bundesliga 2 and Münster their tenth. However, this will be the first meeting between the two at this level. Earlier this season, Jano ter Horst scored the only goal of the game for Münster as they Fortuna 1-0, which is still his only strike of the season.
