What's at stake?

South Korea enter this game in a better position, sitting on three points after their opening two matches, having beaten Czechia in their first encounter. A draw will be enough to earn them second spot in the group, while South Africa can only dream of a place in the last 32 if they triumph. Even then, they will need to win by at least two goals and hope Czechia don't beat Mexico. A draw or defeat by Korea, couple with Czechia avoiding defeat against Mexico, will almost certainly send them home.
