Wout Weghorst: "I wouldn't leave Wolfsburg for just any club"
Wout Weghorst admits he feels at home with Wolfsburg and would find it difficult to consider leaving Wolfsburg - especially if he fires them to a top-four finish.
Dutch striker Weghorst, 28, is enjoying a third stellar season with the Wolves. His 14 league goals and two assists so far have helped them to sit third in the Bundesliga heading into Matchday 22.
Finishing in the top four would see Wolfsburg return to the UEFA Champions League next term - and would add more weight to the argument that he should stick with the 2008/09 German champions.
"I wouldn't leave Wolfsburg for just any club," Weghorst told German sports magazine kicker. "It would have to really suit me - all the more so if we qualify for the Champions League."

Signed from Dutch side AZ in the summer of 2018, Weghorst has racked up 47 goals and 12 assists in 86 Bundesliga matches for Oliver Glasner's side.
Having hit 16 and then 17 league goals in his first two years with the club, the 6'5" forward looks set to smash his previous season-best tally from the 2019/20 campaign.
"My ambitions haven't changed," the Netherlands international said of his future plans. "I want to go as far as I possibly can."
There is growing evidence to suggest that Weghorst's personal goals can be met at Wolfsburg. Ahead of Sunday's clash with Borussia Mönchengladbach, the Wolves have only lost two league matches all season and sit just 10 points behind leaders Bayern Munich.

A return to the Champions League for the first time in five years is within their grasp, but the 2014/15 DFB Cup winners are also in the running to win some more silverware.
Weghorst, who signed an extended contract in summer 2019 lasting until 2023, has also netted three goals in this season's DFB Cup. The 2014/15 Bundesliga runners-up have reached the quarter-finals of that competition as a result, and will travel to face RB Leipzig in the last eight on 3 March.
