Güner contributed 28 goals and 12 assists to Gladbach's triumphant U17 campaign. The 5'9" talent hit five braces and a hat-trick along the way, whilst scooping the award for Best Player in the U17 Championship's Final Tournament to determine the title winner.
The former Schalke youngster has been rewarded with a place in the Gladbach U19s ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, in addition to that aforementioned call-up to the Argentina U17s, coached by ex-Bayer Leverkusen defender Diego Placente.
