Thousands of fans gathered at Munich’s famous square as Bayern boss Vincent Kompany and his players paraded the Bundesliga Meisterschale from the town hall balcony.

"It was great once again, the support was there," said captain Manuel Neuer. "The team dressed up for the occasion, we were happy we could present the Meisterschale to the fans."

Bayern have the chance to complete the domestic double on 23 May, when the 34-time Bundesliga champions travel to Berlin to face holders VfB Stuttgart in the DFB Cup final.

"We're not done yet, so from tomorrow our full focus will be on the next task," said club CEO Herbert Hainer. "Of course we want to win in Berlin."
