Germany youth international Tim Binder signs professional contract with Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich have secured the long-term future of Germany youth international Tim Binder, with the 19-year-old signing a professional contract until 30 June 2030.
Binder joined Bayern's youth academy from Augsburg in 2019 at the age of 12 and has since progressed through all of the club's youth teams at the Campus. The attacker impressed during pre-season training with Vincent Kompany's first-team squad, earning praise for his performances and further underlining his potential.
"Tim has a great deal of potential; he's quick, a strong dribbler and has a brilliant character," said Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund. "He has recently demonstrated his talent, amongst other things, during pre-season training with the first team.
"Tim is a prime example of the outstanding development opportunities available at our Campus. He joined us at a young age and has continued to develop within our youth teams. We are delighted to continue on this journey with him at FC Bayern."
Binder has made 20 appearances for Bayern's reserves so far, scoring seven goals, while he has also earned four caps for Germany U19s. The youngster is currently working towards a return to action after suffering a torn muscle fibre in his right hamstring.
